Lock feature "allow vertical or horizontal move" as you can in Notebook
Being able to change the lock features would allow for interactive options for students to move items and slide things in a uniform manner. This is currently available in Notebook and it would be great to add it into Lumio.
Thanks for your feedback. We are planning on adding more advanced locking options to Lumio.

Fantastic, I hope includes a "Lock and allow move" same as the option in Notebook. It is a very popular feature for creating manipulatives for handouts and workspaces.

Please enable the ability to move an object but lock it's attributes (similar to the notebook software ability). Our teachers are struggling to use Lumio effectively with our centerbased children without this feature.

Please allow the ability to lock a picture/object but still allow it to move. This feature on SmartNotebook allowed me to lock a picture so a student could not change the size or orientation but allowed the object to be moved.

I would love to see an additional feature on Lumio. Currently, you have the lock feature on inserted images but I would like to see a feature with a soft lock meaning the students can still move the image but they wouldn't be able to manipulate its size or orientation. So many times I run into problems when students drag items and they become too big or rotate. Thank you

Similar to allowing locked objects to only move or rotate in specific conditions in SMART Notebook, allowing objects to be moved without being resized or rotated. This would specifically be useful in the use of objects as attendance tools and guided academic supports. Ex. students could drag their name to the category for their lunch choice without accidentally (or intentionally) resizing or rotating their name. Or students could utilize the object provided to sort, classify, select, or measure without the risk of them resizing or rotating it.

I was wondering if there could be a lock but move option for words and pictures so when I create things my students can't resize or rotate it.

In sessions with my youngest students (3 and 4 years old), I like to create interactive activities related to the content of the class that they can work with after each lesson. Their little fingers end up resizing the elements and rendering the activity useless, so it would be very useful if the size of the object could be locked (lock size) when creating the activity. Thank you for your attention.
