I often create my presentation using Smart Notebook...but can't you add more creative options to the online SLS such as Google Slides?
I'd love to see many more online functions such as copying a slide, creating shapes, moving forward/backward, animations, etc! This is 2021! Teachers need better online tools to fully utilize the power of SLS.
SLS is such a powerful online collaboration tool with students, please give us the creating/editing power it deserves!1 vote -
Lesson Activity Builder???
I just created a lesson via Smart Notebook and then exported (or imported to Smart Learning Suite) and all the features disappeared!!! Why? Is there a way I can have the items snap into place while in SLS as Individual Handouts? We are Virtual for a week or more after Spring Break and then Hybrid so everything is still online and I just spent a few hours figuring out Lesson Activity Builder only to learn it's not working via SLS. I'm so upset!!!! (am using home email while home)

Allow smart suite online lessons to be able to be downloaded to Smart notebook.
It would be nice if some of the lessons that I design on smart suite online that I would be able to download to smart notebook so that I would be able to use them offline.

Be able to change the background colour of text box, independent of changing the text colour.
In most software programs that I use, it's possible to change the background fill of a text box. I teach English as a Second Language. If I want to label vocabulary, it makes it more interesting to look at, plus it can also help me classify certain items of vocabulary. Visuals are extremely important in language teaching. I'm surprised you can't do this already in Smart Notebook 20. You will see in my uploaded file an example of what I'm looking to achieve. In my lesson on Health to low level English language learners, I've used colour to differentiate verb…

SLS Online
This feature hardly ever works! When I click on it, it just keeps loading, but it never loads. Can you please make this feature work effectively? I waste too much time trying to find lessons and make lessons, just to find out that the SLS feature is not working. This tool is very unreliable.

Allow pattern blocks to be rotated when in student handout mode
It appears that once I turn the pattern block manipulatives into a student handout, that students are only able to move the shapes around. I think the ability to rotate shapes is disabled when in student mode. This would be an extremely helpful feature to have when teaching students about composing shapes.

Move students who completed handout and have been checked into a folder.
As you are checking student work there should be a button that can be pressed on the teacher end to show it is correct and it won't come up again in work I am checking. When looking for the 2 people who needed help it would be nice not to have to flip through 20+ screens first.

Why is there no abacus/rekenrek manipulative feature?
A moveable abacus or rekenrek type of manipulative would be so helpful for teaching number sense! Does it already exist?

floating tool bar
I hade been using smart 11 for quite some time. we upgraded to smart 20 and the floating tool bar is gone. i am struggling not having it and would appreciate consideration being given to bringing it back. if a user does not like it, they can always turn it off. but not having it is killing me.

Voice instruction for games
Just like you can add audio instructions to the pages of the lesson you should be able to add audio directions to a game. If the student can't read and they have no one to read the question for them they are just going to be guessing the answers. Or when playing games like the Monster game the teacher should be able to see the question and be able to read it and everyone move to the next question at the same time.
