1. Printing defaults

   By default SMART Notebook prints in colour.

   Even if you untick the print in colour option, the setting is only retained for that session meaning that when you close and reopen the program it goes back to printing in colour as default.

   This is particularly wasteful.

   Please introduce a registry key or other setting which will allow us to set the default print option to monochrome.

2. Math equation editor

   Math Equation Editor

   It is not possible to type blank space in the Math Equation Editor, for example between number and unit/domension. Furthermore the equations look horrible in the newer version of the Math Equation Editor. Letters, numbers and characters are extemly close to each other, so it looks ugly. Please change this. I'm a teacher in Germany

3. Can you please get rid of the watermark on my smart notebook so I can share with students on-line?

   We are teaching from home because of coronavirus. I really need my Smartboard software. I used my Smartboard ALL the time at school. I have a free version on my laptop at home but I cannot share my screen online with kids because of the dang watermark. PLEASE remove it. This is a tool I already know and love. I cannot keep learning new tools.

6. Wir brauche ein neues Tools für die Verbindung IPAD zu unseren SMARTBOARDS Da Maestro eingestellt gestellt wird. Was gibt es als ALternative

   Mit Maestro und der SmartNotebook APP konnten wir super im Raum agieren.
   Für neue Kollegen ist dies nicht mehr möglich da die APP von eurer Seite eingestellt worden ist.
   Super Hilfreiche Tools einfach einzustellen macht uns das Leben schwere. Ist das die Hilfe die Smart anbietet? Welche Alternative gibt es ? Bis jetzt wurde mir nichts angeboten was diese Funktion wiedergibt.

7. Teaching from home

   As you know, the schools have been closed nationally due to the virus. We use Smart Notebook in our classrooms and now we can't because we are at home. Would it be possible for educators to use it from home without paying?

9. Helping educators getting ready for teaching remotely

   I love your product. I would love to use again. My district LVUSD in california, is preparing all of us to go remotely because of the corona virus. We are using google hangouts but the google platform does not have a 'board' to write on. When I was in Palm Springs for the CMC I talked to your employees about the smartboard. I even sold a couple of districts to buy the product.

10. Einbindung anderer 3D Objekte / .tableApplication

    Es gibt ziemlich viele Anbieter, welche ihre "3D-Objekte" zur Verfügung stellen.
    Jedoch kann man diese nicht in die Smart Notebook Software integrieren,:" Dateipfad nicht gefunden"

    Gibt es da eine andere Möglichkeit diese einzubinden?

11. One word correction in Finnish

    Finnish language should be corrected in Screen capture tool and NB icon - Should be Kuvankaappaus-työkalurivi instead of tökalurivi. So just add y. Thanks!

13. Nerviges Problem mit der Funktion Gruppieren + Einblenden

    Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

    ich habe mich bereits an Ihren Kunden Support gewendet. Dieser teilte mir mit, dass man mir nicht weiterhelfen könne und ich meine "brechtigte Beschwerde" hier einbringen solle.

    Unten aufgeführt die ausführliche Fehlerbeshreibung.

    Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

    ich habe mich in der Vergangenheit bereits mit diesem Problem an Sie gewandt. Leider ist die „Fehlfunktion“ nach wie vor vorhanden, was mir immer wieder den letzten Nerv raubt!

    Ich benutze im Unterricht die Funktion „Gruppieren“, um Merkkästen zu erstellen (siehe Beispiel „Teil 1“). Dafür erstelle ich einen Text und hinterlegen ihn dann mit einer farbigen Form. Diese beiden Elemente werden nun gruppiert und mit der Funktion „Einblenden“ versehen. So kann ich den Merkkasten zur gegebenen Zeit einblenden lassen und mit der Klasse gemeinsam ausfüllen. So weit so gut.

    Nun ist es in der Regel so, dass im nächsten Jahr der Merkkasten abgeändert oder erweitert werden muss. Hierfür müssen meist nur minimale Änderungen vorgenommen werden. Problem: Sobald ich die Funktion „Einblenden“ entferne, verschwinden beide Elemente (siehe „Teil 2“). Lasse ich die Funktion Einblenden drauf und entferne lediglich die Gruppierung der beiden Elemente, passiert erst mal nichts und ich kann den Merkkasten abändern. Will ich die beiden Elemente (Text und Form) nun wieder gruppieren, verschwinden beide Elemente und ich kann sie nicht wieder sichtbar machen.

    Um dieses extrem nervige Problem zu umgehen muss ich einen Workaround anwenden:

    1. Gruppieren aufheben.
    2. Text des Merkkastens ändern.
    3. Abgeänderten Text markieren  ausschneiden.
    4. Text einfügen.
    5. Alte Form löschen.
    6. Neue Form erstellen.
    7. Abgeänderter Text und neue Form anpassen.
    8. Abgeänderter Text und neue Form neu gruppieren.
    9. Einblend-Funktion darauf anwenden.

    Wie Sie sich vorstellen können, ist das jedes Mal wieder ein enormer Aufwand, der viel Zeit und viele Nerven kostet. Und sind wir mal ehrlich: Das ist alles andere als „SMART“. Dieses Problem besteht schon, seit dem ich mit SMART Notebook arbeite (Version 9)!

    Können Sie bitte zeitnahe einen Patch herausbringen, der diese dämliche Kinderkrankheit endlich behebt? Es ist frustrierend zu sehen, das stets neue Versionen mit neuen Funktionen herausgehauen werden, diese grundlegende Fehlmechanik allerdings weiter überdauert.

    Ich verwende die Version 19.0.4069.2

19. More options for Monster Quizzes!

    I am very frustrated that I cannot use pictures, or more question formats, in the Monster Quizzes. I'm only allowed to use multiple choice A-B-C-D questions. When I build a quiz, I can add a picture, but then those questions are not allowed in Monster Quizzes. I can also do other question formats, but then those are blocked when I try to run the Monster Quiz.

    Please let us have custom key binds to different tools/pens/colors.
    Most drawing programs have this as a standard. It's a small thing that would be a huge quality of life improvement.
