  1. Bequemlichkeit

    Es fehlen viele, eigentlich normale Bequemlichkeitsfunktionen bei der Bedienung von Notebook auf dem PC.
    - Ich möchte mit zwei Fingern auf dem Touchpad ein- und auszoomen können. - - Ich möchte mit zwei Fingern nicht nur nach oben und unten, sondern auch nach links und rechts scrollen können.
    - Ich möchte die Möglichkeit haben, vorher erstellte Tafelbilder an einem Raster auszurichten, damit alle Objekte sauber zueinander stehen
    - Ich möchte bei Tabellen mehrere Zellen gleichzeitig auswählen, um Schriftgröße oder ähnliches einstellen zu können
    - Ich möchte Textfelder mit einem Rahmen versehen können, für den ich nicht extra ein Rechteck zeichnen…

  2. Multiple Select for SMART Notebook 25

    In SMART Notebook 25, you cannot drag a rectangle to select multiple objects on top of an imported PDF.

    Consider this...

    1. Import a PDF of a guided notes page used by students.

    2. Annotate that PDF with SMART Notebook in front of the class.

    3. Make a mistake or want to move something... With the current SMART Notebook software, you cannot drag a rectangle to select multiple objects. You would need to return to your desk and individually select the objects while holding your shift key!

    This is not ideal. SMART Tech Support have confirmed that this is not possible in Version…

  3. Voreinstellung Seitengröße

    Es sollte möglich sein, dass man das voreingestellte Format einer neuen Seite auf 4:3 umstellen kann, sodass ich nicht bei jeder einzelnen neue Seite das Format umstellen muss.

  4. Breite der Tabellenspalten automatisch anpassen

    Es sollte wieder möglich sein, dass man in einer erzeugten Tabelle die einzelnen Spalten automatisch auf die gleiche Breite bringen kann (über den Reiter "Größe einstellen" bei Rechtsklick auf die Tabelle), so wie es in Version 22 möglich war.

  7. Translate feature within Smart Notebook

    I teach in both French and English, and would absolutely love to be able to translate directly in Smart Notebook. Ideally, it would be possible to translate the whole file, but even one page or text selection at a time would save me a lot of work!

  8. Print full slides even with a shade!

    Notebook 22 used to allow you to print a full slide even if it had a shade on it. Now you have to remove the shade in order to get what you had under it to print.

  9. Lines (horizontal/vertical)

    Latest version (25.0).

    First of all, thank you for bringing the alignment features back! 🙏
    But why stop there? Why can't we draw perfectly horizontal/vertical lines?
    It has been reported several times:

  10. Wacom graphic pen not working anymore!

    The latest version (25.0) don't allow me to use my Wacom pen as... a pen! It's no longer compatible, so I can't use the whiteboard as such anymore...

    The same problem was reported almost 2 years ago and is still under review (https://smarttech.uservoice.com/forums/444595-smart-notebook/suggestions/47194142-wacom-pen-not-longer-compatible).

    Please, can someone fix it...?

    Update: The Wacom pen is working again! Yay! Maybe it was a problem of compatibility between versions (Smart Notebook / Wacom)? Anyway, problem solved itself, but maybe there is some checking to do, just in case... Thanks!

  11. The latest up date seems to have returned a very undesirable feature to Smart Notebook. Up until recently, something posted via the screen

    I have Notebook 25 and every time I try to import a ppt or pdf file to Notebook, i get an error message saying my file is corrupted. Please patch this problem.

  14. Inserting video and image issues

    Issues inserting videos in Notebook 25 (no option above for v 25) using Pixabay - no video options load. Also, the picture suggestions are not accurate e.g. when searching for 'the water cycle' images of a bike appear.

  15. Notebook gallery

    There are plenty of very old images in the image gallery in Notebook. I think It's time to delete them, as the software is excellent but feels quite old-fashioned when it comes to visuals. See examples of images when you search for computers.

  16. Please Bring Back the Original Icon for a SMART Notebook File!

    For SMART Notebook 25 when I save a SMART Notebook File from SMART Notebook to my Desktop the Icon (Visual) is not a Blue Paper with White Horizontal Lines, Instead it looks like the Icon for SMART Notebook and I can't stand having multiple SMART Notebook Files that have the Same Icon as the Software Itself. So Please bring Back the Original Icon for a SMART Notebook file.

  17. math tools

    Please include the math tools in newer versions. I don't understand why they are no longer included. The last version with math tools was 22. These tools are why I continue to use this software. It is frustrating/time consuming to have to open everything first in the new version and then using VIEW in open in the older version (with the math tools).
