links an dformula editor (I know: 2 topics in 1)
Old Notebook files have NAMES ... and new notebook files have NUMBERS.
When using a link and there are 2 (or more) pages with the same name, then the link will work correctly, however when editing it will reflect the preview of the first slide with that name.
Also when linking and using the cursor keys the preview is not updated. When using the mouse click, it will update the preview.
And also we need more votes for a REAL formula editor. Not that monster that is currently baked in.

screen capture- choose option before taking screen shot and save choice
Currently, there are too many clicks involved in taking screenshots. Years ago I would choose what to do (ex. send to current page) and I could take tons of pictures in a row without the need to tell SMART to send to the current page EVERY time I took a picture. SMART would just continue to do the same thing until I made a different choice. The choices were listed before you took the picture instead of after and without the unnecessary need to click "do something else" which creates an extra click. Please list them all to save the…

Zoom option of drawing a box around what you want to zoom in on. This is incredibly useful to focus students attention and for drawing on models.

delete from file option in object animation
I have re-useable master files for my lessons. Coloured rectangles hide the answers.
The rectangles can be removed by clicking and deleting . That works, but is time-consuming and awkward when standing at the screen, especially when I have 10 of them on the one page and I'm trying to hit that little red cross in the toolbar! With the boxes removed though, I can save the file as a pdf for my students where they can see the answers.

Add-On Game flashcards in a stack
In SMART Notebook Add-On options, have the flashcard game have the option for all flashcards to be in a stack and revealed one-at-a-time. The game randomizer is not good enough so it would be best to have a toggle option on creating the game to allow for all flashcards to be in a stack.

I would like the ability to customize what displays on the toolbar when in full screen mode. I do not want the magic pen. I would rather have the regular pen available.

A multi-sided shape that can be filled
It's actually Smart Notebook 21 on a Mac. I would like to be able to draw a multi-sided shape that can be filled like any other polygon shape. It should allow for sides that are not all the same. The current tools are a few pre-determined multi-sided shapes or the regular polygon shapes up to 16 sides.
For example, it would be great if I could draw a kite like shape and fill it or a capital H or L that can be filled.
These are irregular polygons.

Animations
Subsequent animations for an object. I would like an option to animate an object to fade in when pressed and then subsequently fade out when pressed again. Or an option to indefinitely have an object toggle between fade in and out each time it is pressed. I currently have to go forward and back a page to "reset" an animation.

Extend Page to the Right
For years, I have been able to click "Extend Page" when I run out of room at the bottom of my document. Why can't I do the same when I run out of room on the right side of my document?
When I am doing a math problem, sometimes I get near the end of the screen and have to start writing uphill or downhill. A simple solution would be to have the ability to extend to the right just like I can at the bottom of the screen.

Keeping Up With The Klassroom Teachers
I use Notebook every single day for multiple courses and have done so for 8+ years. While I love this software, there have been minimal, miniscule changes in the last 4 versions. It's disappointing when a widely used tool doesn't progress to meet the needs of its users.
Here are some basic changes that I REALLY hope to see in the near future:
- Ability to set a default font & size.
- Ability to set a default pen, line, & eraser thickness.
- Option for hiding fonts that appear in dropdown menu
- Put a "recently used" or "favorites" section at the beginning…

build an interactive thermometer that shows CELCIUS
Kids learn best when they can manipulate the mercury to travel up and down the thermometer to reflect the temperature of the day.
Numbers need to be big. Ensure they can see each increment line between the numbers. Make 0 degrees a different coloured number than the + and - numbers.

knop meervoudige polygonen weer toevoegen
na het verdwijnen van de mathtool is de knop meervoudige polygonen tekenen weg gehaald. Hiermee kun je heel eenvoudig een vlak tekenen, wat heel handig is tijdens ruimtemeetkunde voor bijvoorbeeld een diagonaalvlak tekenen. Het zou fantastisch zijn als deze knop terug komt.

GET RID OF WATERMARK UNLESS CONNECTED TO BOARD
Its problematic for creating materials outside of class. One does not always need the extra features and teachers end up paying for things the school wont that they may not even use.

Hello, in my opinion the graphics of SMART Notebook should be improved and made more beautiful, with rounded corners and better animations to have a more beautiful and modern graphics and I would ask you to round the corners of the SMART Notebook startup logo!

Sounds on dice
If I have a letter on each side of the dice, it would be nice if I could record the sound for each letter - If the dice rolled an /a/, I could record or import the sound /a/.

Make the clipboard work in a standard way.
This is actually for Notebook 21.0; apparently your form is quite out of date.
If I copy something (an image, text block, etc.) from one notebook file to paste into another, but close the first, the clipboard data is lost. That's not how this works for basically every other program I have used in the last 30 years. It is infuriating. Saving a file after copying does the same thing; why would I lose clipboard data by saving the file I copied from? It's been like this for a long time, and it irritates me at least once a week…
