Text Pen: Change Default Font
Change the default font for the text pen. Education needs a font style that resembles as if a student/child is writing. This includes letters like a and q displaying as one would write. This supports both students just learning English (young learners, ELLs) as well as students with special needs (ie. Dyslexic). Much research has been done by Microsoft that you can pull from to find a better default font.

let us remove/add internal keyboard languages
It is so annoying that I cannot add or remove languages for the internal keyboard. I have a panel now, that every day needs to be set to danish... from estonian... I have no idea why, since all language setting on the panel IS set to danish.... And why should I even be able to chose from more than 3-4 languages when it is NEVER needed?
Also some students or teachers accidently sets the keyboard language to a different language by holding space button... and we have to scroll through so many languages to get it back to danish.

More Whiteboard Export Features
The new whiteboard that replaces the Kapp app is lacking some features. For instance was it possible from the Kapp app on the smartboard to mail the whiteboard as PDF and every user that was connected with the APP/WEB had the option to download the whiteboard as PDF.
It would be great if the new whiteboard will also have this option, now the only way to get the whiteboard is through a USB device which is not great.
Extra export to Google Drive, Onedrive, ... would also be a step in the right direction.6 votes -
Login with own Active Directory
Since many schools have their own Microsoft or Samba Active Directory domain controller, it would be great to use those in order of Google/Microsoft-Mails to authenticate in every way.

Allow owners to install Screen Share on new board models.
Allow board owners to add Screen Share app to newer board models. Screen Mirror is overly cumbersome and overly complicated to use with something as simple as airplay.

lockscreen PIN
Minimize the Lockscreen PIN, so it can be Blocked by the teacher, and the entire classroom doesnt see the PIN, as it is entered. This renders the PIN useless, and students can just come to the screen and entere the PIN that is constantly being "shown" to them by the teacher every time the PIN is entered.

Save PDF (or Notebook) to One Drive / Google Drive
Many districts ban the use of USB drives, so users need a way to get the exported Whiteboard files from the PDF/Notebook format into a cloud storage solution (ie. Google Drive or One Drive). Making this seamless and easy would be a great addition.

set volume levels
It would be handy to be able to set the volume levels remotely before we disallow volume adjustment. It would not be good to lock the user out of the volume control if the volume is set too low, or too high. We should be able to set the volume at a certain percentage and then disallow any adjustment.

Give teachers full access to the Smartboard
Teachers do not have access to sign on to the actual Smartboard in the classroom to use the apps and create lessons. We only have access to the widgets. when I sign in, it says there is a privacy issue.

Google Meet Screen Share
Please work on a means by which I can screen share through Google Meet from the Smartboard Chrome browser directly. With the camera app, I can finally log into Google Meet directly--that's awesome. This one extra function will radically improve my ability to run class efficiently with sick students logging in from home without running between multiple devices.

Prevent thumbnail image from appearing at bottom center of the screen. Problem for littles when writing on the board.
When K and 1st grade students write on the lower, center part of the board, the thumbnail image of the whiteboard appears and kiddos cannot see what is behind the thumbnail. Make this a feature that can be turned off in settings.

More granular volume control
Some of our staff have requested more granular volume control, as the lowest volume is sometimes too loud for certain uses and each volume 'step' is too much of a jump

Make the screen shade work like a screen shade please.
When using Smart Notebook or Smart Ink the screen shade can be moved to reveal parts of the screen. However, when using the SMART IQ the screen shade does not move (it only serves as a screen cover.) It would be great if the screen shade could function the same in IQ. For instance, after you write out a list on the whiteboard app you could press the screen shade button and then reveal the notes as you teach.
