Selecting multiple objects in a live session for deletion
In the editing version of a lesson I can select multiple objects with the use of a mouse and the shift key. This allows me to clear out handwriting easily in edit mode. I would like to have the same ability as a teacher in that lesson when I am synchronous or live. Right now it's a single object-single delete and it would be nice if we could change that.

Please allow us to export Lumio slides/files as pdf's in order to be able to print them out. I really liked this feature in Smart Notebook.

Try out our attach audio feature! It will allow you to record or upload audio and attach it to any annotation on a page. From an annotation's context menu pick "Attach audio" or look for the microphone in the toolbox to add an audio annotation.

ability to move multiple documents to be open at the same time
As a primary teacher, I have to be as prepared as possible with as little wait time as I can manage for my youngest learners. I would like to be able to have 2 different documents open in different tabs. If I attempt to do this, it will inadvertently update one to look just like the other tab. I do not want that. I want to be able to switch from reading to a math activity. Not having to end one lesson to look for, then open another one.

Asynchronous Student Access to Response and other activities
Please enable the option for students to access and complete SLSO Response formative assessments via a shared link. Teachers would like to administer a formative assessment to their students asynchronously, rather than during a live lesson. Perhaps the teacher could "end" access to the assessment by choosing to "stop sharing" the link.

I'm pleased to announce that this has gone live in Lumio today
You will notice a new setting on Response quizzes that will let you toggle between "Independent work" and "Live in-class." Independent work is the default.
When a Response quiz is configured as Independent work, they can be started by students in asynchronous assignments, or during live delivery when you're running in student-paced mode.
When "Live in-class" is configured, the quiz must be started by the teacher in live delivery, the way it used to work. Use this for a proctored quiz experience.

I need to be able to add hyperlinks to pages, space and activities
I need to be able to add hyperlinks to pages, space and activities because my students use other teacher selected websites for learning and research. In a powerpoint I can insert a hyperlink , it is a key aspect of my resource sharing and so lumio is too restrictive for me without this feature

The ability to reset the presentation all at once the way one could "clear ink" from all the slides in SMART notebook.
The ability to reset the presentation all at once the way one could "clear ink" from all the slides in SMART notebook. I am spending a lot of time clearing entries between classes. Time I don't always have. The auto save function can be very annoying when the handouts I prepared for 2nd hour are already filled in from 1st hour.

Be able to print existing uploaded files
I just found a file I had uploaded last year. I can't print the file. I don't know where the original one is. I obviously uploaded it to the program, but now I can't print copies for my students.

Audio for students, too
Now that it is finally possible for the teacher to add audio, I hope that this will also be an opportunity for the students. Had been a HUGE help for the students who struggle to express themselves in writing and we will have everything in one place

Drag and drop images
Right now we have to search our computers for the images we need, but being able to drag and drop an image directly into a slide is a basic feature that would be really helpful. Can we get this?

Folders in Lumio for different lessons
It would be great to be able to make folders for different type of lessons (math etc.) or have a function to sort your lessons by genre/last modified. Now, if i make modifications to an execting lesson, it remains in the "originally created spot" in stead of popping up.

Instead of having to reset each slide for the next class, allow us to reset the entire lesson. I don't want to make copies of each lesson for various classes.

Good news. You no longer need to reset pages or lessons manually. Lumio now creates a clean session every time you start new from a file in your My Library. Sessions with student work are stored in the new Class Sessions tab, allowing you to review the work later if needed.

Undo a Handout or Workspace Activity after the activity is saved
Sometimes, mistakes are found after an activity is already saved, or teachers find something they want to add to make a page better. Currently, there is no way to undo a Handout or Workspace Activity in order to make corrections to the page so students have accurate information.

You can now edit converted Handout and Workspace activities in edit mode. Note that if it’s a lesson you have already delivered and captured student data, you should create a copy of the lesson first to keep the data since editing a converted Handout or Workspace will reset the student data.
