Audio for students, too
Now that it is finally possible for the teacher to add audio, I hope that this will also be an opportunity for the students. Had been a HUGE help for the students who struggle to express themselves in writing and we will have everything in one place
Best regards Kristin Skage
Thanks for your feedback, Kristin. We are exploring adding more ways for students to respond and express themselves in Lumio activities.

This would help students who have special needs for them to record their answers.

To improve Lumio I would love it if you could add audio to the game content. This could give younger students even more support than just having audio on the slide to give directions.

Is there an update on this feature request? I can see that the suggestion was made a little over two years ago, with only one comment from SMART made about four months ago. Just curious! We are eager to provide students with the ability to record audio responses, which would make Lumio more competitive with similar instructional platforms. :)

when reading teachers are assessing students, they want to give students a passage to read aloud and have lumio record the student reading it aloud. And then the teacher would be able to go back and assess the student's ability to read aloud from the student's audio recording

Add option for using audio clips with captions (like Flip previously Flipgrid) by students and teachers! This would support great back and forth communication when typing or handwriting is a barrier to learning.

I would love if the students would be able to voice record themselves completing an activity.
For example: when assessing fluency, have the students record their voices while they are reading off letters or a passage. -

This feature would be a game changer for music teachers! In working with music teachers in our district they are using Lumio for rhythmic and melodic dictations. Having students record their response in addition to their music notation would increase the instight into student understanding.

Is this happening soon? Student could do Podcast with it! I can not wait!

It's wonderful that teachers can insert audio on on a slide, but it would be even better if students had this option as well when working on an individual or collaborative handout.

Please add a student voice recorder for students to make audio submissions. This will be very helpful across content areas to comprehend student thought processes, and also helpful in world languages classes.

This idea is so important for students who are learning to speak English. Right now, we have to use Flip Grid for this service. I'd really love to have it in SLSO to incorporate in lessons and to use for asynchronous work.

I had a world language teacher tell me that if this feature was added, she would not have to purchase a voice thread license. We would LOVE to see this feature!

Also helpful for reading interventionists to allow for independent practice of reading words, sentences , & connected text.

I would like my students to be able to record a response. I might ask them to read the words on the slide or describe a picture. It is now so easy for the teacher to add audio. I would like my students to be able to do the same thing!

Yup! For us music teachers this would be a BIG plus!

I love that SLSO can record audio but is there a way for you to add an audio button for students to record? Teacher would need to be able to turn on/off
