Add more editing options into SLSO
I would like to see more editing options available in SLSO. For example in SMART Notebook you can edit items a lot easier with text, shapes, color, fill color, inserting items, etc. What I find difficult about the SLSO product is I have to create and finalize everything before loading into SLSO. I have to pre-build in a different platform, finalize, then upload. I can't really build as I go, as if I would with a PowerPoint/slides file. I would like that option. If I want to edit in SLSO creatively it is difficult to do so. In addition, I…

Make a way for us to copy a page and use it again as another slide.
Sometimes I want to reuse a slide that I made. It would be nice to have a feature that would allow me to copy a slide. Thanks!!

Align to the center of objects
I used to be able to select objects and have them aligned by the center of the object. Now I can only align the tops or bottoms. I miss this feature. Please bring it back!

Larger writing area
When you upload a notebook file, I would love if it filled the whole screen (like when you add a whiteboard page). Also, in Notebook you can extend your page to make it longer, it would be nice to be able to do that as well.

Making Words manipulative needs both capital and lowercase letters options
In the Making Words manipulatives activity, the letter tiles are all capitals. It would be nice if there was the option to use lowercase letters for making words.

student screens instead of names
Right now when it is a handout you can see the student names and then click on it and see their screen. It would be amazing if you could see all their screens at once instead of the names. Or as an option. That you could either select to see their screens or their names.

Record how many times a student-paced activity is used OR record which students complete a student-paced activity
Having created a student-paced matching game activity, I would love to see how many times it is used (if it is used) and by which students. If it's a resource that's not used by students, I will put my time and energy into something else.

Exporting SMART file to SMART Notebook (for offline viewing)
I would like to use some of the features of the online notebook with the full offline version. For example, I opened a Google Slide file using SMART Learning Suite Online. But then I was to use that file and transfer it to my SMART Notebook software installed on my PC.

Game Elements
Game elements need to have functionality on student devices, not just the smartboard/teacher device. For example, the student devices need access to the buzzers so they can buzz from their desks. Also, when the timer finishes, it should end the game on their devices, not just the teacher's.

Text to speech
The pandemic demonstrated the need for your platform to be able to read the text we put in notebook lessons so that these lessons can be independently accessed by younger or challenged students. Synchronous teaching did not work well for msny students so the need for directions and explanations within SLS is essential.

PLEASE add the screen capture (camera with the option to just take a part of the screen) to the online learning suite.
I need the screen capture when presenting in order to take specific questions off a homework page in real time and moved them to a new page to show how it would be done. Also, some of the math exercises extend beyond the space that I can write on my iPad. Notebook allows you to extend the page, can the online suite do that?

assessment
Allow students to see how they did on the assessment as soon as they finish it (do not wait for the teacher to end the activity). Students work at different paces. An even better suggestion would be for students to find out after each question how they did in a multiple question assessment. Similar to the old Senteo system. Makes students slow down and think about each question if they know they are not doing well instead of just choosing answers and feeling "oh well"

Ability to copy and paste into the Gaming activities - like Fill in the Blanks
I would like to be able to take a paragraph from a digital file and copy and paste it into fill in the blanks activity. Currently you cannot do this. Also, the number of words you can use for this activity is quite small.

Add instant rewards/points or similar on student accounts when they complete their activities sucessfully.
Add instant rewards/points or similar on student accounts when they complete their activities successfully. As it is , game based learning is exciting for kids, and adding some sort of reward system built into their account for completing the activities might be more exciting for participation and learning.
