Pictures (BIG - can be seen from the teacher screen) need to be in ALL game-based activities We are trying to limit screen time for kids. If we want to do a review game we want to be able to do this from the board as a whole group/class activity. However the pictures are so small and many game based activities still don't have the option to import a picture at all. Our rigor is very high so many times we need to import a picture of a math representation or question (word problem) to cut down on the time it takes to create the game.

Ability to add resources from Lumio to SMART Exchange We need to be able to add content from Lumio by SMART (former SLS-Online) directly to SMART Exchange. Now, it is only possible to add resources from your computer when you do the lessons on Notebook.

Better format ideas Please consider making Lumio more user friendly. I am used to the format of Desmos and from a teacher view, it is very easy to see if a student started and finished a problem without actually clicking on the slide. Also, I have to click on the problem and then the student to see their slide. Perhaps there is a way to click on the on the slide and then see real-time little screens of all of my students. Also, like Desmos, can we provide real-time feedback where teacher and student can write to each other? Maybe even as a…

Sharing files in more languages on SMART Exchange platform such as Armenian It would be great if our teachers from Armenia could also post and share files in Armenian on the SMART Exchange platform.

Hide Student Names It would be nice to be able to share students' work to the entire class, with the option to hide their names so the students don't feel so anxious when the teacher shares their responses.

ANAGRAM(putting spheres/letters in order) and HANGMAN (basketball) that were available in smart notebook with customised words and hints. In smart notebook there were these two games where one could write a series of words and hints, then these are converted into games.

A button to provide a screen over the things in your project A button on the side task bar that would put a "privacy screen" over the items in your slides project so that you can slowly show parts of it instead of the whole slide.

Student login (email address) needs to be available and connected with Name display. Students log in with a school email, this email needs to be attached to the name displayed for class. Students use nicknames and inappropriate words and we can't track them. If you could click on the name in the list of attendance, it should have the email or student ID number attached, in order to be able to track abuse.

Could you add a plot diagram template? The story map is great as a quick review, but my students could really use something a bit more detailed.

Improved Adding a link feature When adding a link, the text should be clickable like in every other platform they use, not the little blue box with the arrow.

A way to view activities as a student. Especially on the game features and the workspaces and student handouts. It would be nice to see exactly what the students will see so I can teach them how to participate in or complete the activities.

Embed videos and stop or pause to post questions. The ability to embed videos - other than youtube - and pause - post questions and resume.

Lumio has the ability to re-size slides, however, it does not save. Please make them save to the size the teacher chooses. I was very happy to re-size my Lumio slides to 150%. It made for a nice optimal classroom display, but it did not save. I would need to resize my slides for every presentation daily. Please give the option to save this setting.

Resize images Uploaded images in activities (ie. label reveal) appear smaller compared to the space available. It would be nice to be able to resize inserted images once they're uploaded.

Allow Smart Notebook Sound to Work in SN files opened in Lumio I don’t know if what I ask for is a programming nightmare or not, but I have developed many Smart Notebook files for music classes that make use of attached sound files to objects. This is SUCH an amazing feature of Notebook and opens all kinds of design doors. I can make a screen-based piano or a matching objects game to match pitches. And much more.
When I used my new Smartboard I was thrilled to figure out that I could download those original Notebook files to the Player on the board and they worked! BUT, not so with converting…5 votes -
Revert to original Instead of having to make a master file and then making a copy of the file to write on and manipulate, it would be helpful to have a button that allows the user to revert back to the original file with no markings and manipulatives reset to the original position. Not just individual pages, but a reset for the entire file.
