  1. I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity based upon seating charts instead of random heterogeneous groups and moving afterwards. I like the heterogeneous groups for some activities but not all.

    Thanks for your feedback, Erin. We will consider this for our backlog. As a workaround for now, you can re-adjust the groups after the initial random set by dragging and dropping the student names. It is more cumbersome because you will likely have to do this every time.

    Thank you for your feedback. We have added the ability for students to respond with text for collaborative Workspace activities and will be adding the same feature for Handout activities soon.

  5. It would be great if the web-based experience is the same as the software download for Mac/PC. I don't want to have to switch between devices to use the tools that I use most frequently for teaching Math; Full Screen, primarily Writing/Erasing, no pencil icon moving with my writing, Erase capabilities should be the same also, I want to build AND edit on the same device.

    Thanks for the feedback, Kate. We may be adding more editing functionality to the delivery experience to tweak the content. May I ask if the delete is for removing new objects created with infinite cloner?

    If the page with the infinite cloner is meant as an activity, one way to deal with objects created is to explicitly convert the page to a Handout activity. Not only does this enable all students to interact with the activity, but it also allows you to reset the activity, thus removing objects created with infinite cloner.

  7. I don't want students to have another "email", rather, an "airbox" so that teachers can send students info, individual assignments (perhaps missed by absence), etc. as needed. It is a "touch it once" type of organization for the teacher.

    Thanks for the suggestion, Miss Donni. We are planning to address the need for more appropriate themes for older students by enabling teachers to customize themes to match the subject matter of the activity. Would this help with teen student engagement?

    Thanks for the suggestion. We have much work planned on our backlog to save student work and enable teachers to review them. This will be a staged release, where you see some activities like Shout It Out and response getting this feature first with others to follow.

  17. Hey! Now I am putting together an exercise in SLS online and when I notice that you can not save the lists of information that you can in the Notebook LAB exercise. It would be so helpful if you could enter that function so you don't have to write the same thing several times.

  19. I would love to be able to edit a SMARTNotebook lesson once it is online. Most teachers at my school do not have access to SMARTNotebook on their personal computers and can only create these activities while they are at work. If they were able to work on these Notebooks without having to have access to their school computers with Notebook installed, that would be great. I think it would be most important to be able to type in the document in SLSO, move objects around, and create objects. It would also be cool if any changes made using SLSO…
