Currently, we can only add a timer in a Lumio activity. Teachers would LOVE to have the option to add a timer to a "regular" page in Lumio. Thank you for working to add this feature!

Hello, SMART! Thanks for adding so many new fonts to Lumio. They are quite useful! Today my team had a meeting with representatives sharing info about Lumio Spark. (We are very excited about the roadmap!) During the meeting, it was suggested that I submit a request for a specific feature, so I am following up on this thread. I believe this involves having the option to *upload* fonts, rather than download them.
While using Lumio, teachers want to use fonts they downloaded to their device...but that would require having the option to *upload* fonts to a Lumio account.
Aside from the "math fonts" noted in the comment I posted last spring, the "shape box" font concept would be useful for diverse groups of students. Here are two examples of "shape box" fonts: https://www.dafont.com/kg-teacher-helpers.font and https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Shape-Boxes-NO-Spaces-Between-Letters-Font-363451. Perhaps one of your staff members can create a similar option!
As noted in other comments, the option to upload fonts to a password-protected site, such as Canva, is available. Perhaps SMART could include a disclaimer similar to the one posted by Canva about uploading fonts. Just a thought.

We wholeheartedly agree! Our teachers utilize 123 Math Fonts (True Type fonts) for instruction, and they appear as expected in SMART Notebook, However, they import into Lumio with space between each character. Edits are not possible because there are only five fonts currently available in Lumio.

Is there an update on this feature request? I can see that the suggestion was made a little over two years ago, with only one comment from SMART made about four months ago. Just curious! We are eager to provide students with the ability to record audio responses, which would make Lumio more competitive with similar instructional platforms. :)

Thank you for your feedback! We love Notebook too; we've added functionality to it over the last 20 years and there's a lot in there.
We plan on continuing to add support for the best of Notebook features in Lumio and making your Notebook files work better when imported to Lumio. For example, we recently added support for shapes and lines and the MathType equation editor.
We would appreciate your input to help us prioritize the features that are the most important to you. Let us know your favorite specific features by voting on ideas. If you don't see your feature suggested already, create a new idea.
