To attach a sound file would be great. I can see this had been commented on a number of times for a number of year. So useful for non visual learners

I teach pre-k and would love to be able to add multiple sounds to a created page. For example, I just made a review sorting game for the last four letters we covered. The students have four boxes to match uppercase, lower case, and pictures that begin with the letters used. I would love to be able to have them click on each box to hear the letter sound of the letter that goes with it. Without this feature, they are only able to pick a box for each letter group, not match them by their beginning sounds.

This is especially useful for our large English-learner population that are new to the Roman alphabet, our bilingual classrooms, as well as our second-language enrichment classes offered (Chinese, Spanish, Arabic.)

this would be an amazing addition and another level of support for our students.

To make Lumio more accessible, I would love the option to record audio or attach an audio clip to images so a user can click the image and have a short audio recording, such as a description of what the image is, the sound of a letter, etc.)

I teach Kindergarten and adding some audio files to slides would be amazing for all the songs we sing throughout the lessons. I have to keep jumping back and forth between programs which is frustrating. I love using Lumio for my teaching and interactive parts of my lessons, but the lack of audio file ability is a problem.

It would be nice if we could upload audio files to the documents.

Another vote on behalf of music teachers: teachers need to be able to add audio files to slides! SLSO is very frustrating for music teachers without this feature!

This is MASSIVE for younger grades especially! When I found I could do this Notebook I saw how I could actually use this software. This feature crossing over is a MUST

As a music teacher that developed many Smart Notebook activities with sounds attached to objects, not having sound is disappointing.

I agree!!!! As more schools move toward Chromebooks for teachers, everything in Notebook won't be able to be used. Especially difficult for math teachers!!!!

I would like all functions to work the same in Notebook aswell as SLS. Notebook files uploaded to SLS can cut the text and one letter ends up on the next row. I would like it to be identical.

I have seen that audio-improvement has already been a suggestion other users. However it is an important improvement. I would like to use SLS as a way to be able to make my students work on different levels (my idea is to use QR-codes to make that happen). However I am missing the function to add sound to my objects (works in Notebook). Students who can't read or write yet could really use this function, being able to listen to words and instructions. I know you can add audio to a whole page, but I think it is important to add to seperate objects.

Three of the top "hot" topics deal with audio! It is critical with Chromebooks and cloud based districts.

I am a music teacher and have many audio and video files that I would like to add to lessons but can't. I enjoy so much of SLSO but the audio and video capabilities are disappointing. Especially when we know what Smart Notebook was able to do.
PLEASE add these features.

Agree - you need better cross-compatibility between Notebook and SMART suite generally, which should include audio...

I agree. I would love to continue making my students feel independent by being able to provide an audio version of the directions for my activities so they will be able to relisten to it when needed. I would also love to be able to include audio to demonstrate how to sound out words, to walk them through the activity, etc.

When audio is embedded into the smart notebook file it should come over to the online smart notebook so students can hear tips, suggestions and notes from their teacher.

Please have audio and transitions in SMART Notebook files still work when that content is uploaded to SLSO as an Activity.
