SLSO via the Gsuite
When we access the SLSO via a gsuite, it doesn't allow the teacher to access her cloud of lessons. She has to sign- back in via the web based address. It seems like an extra step that can be eliminated. The suite option should allow access to the lesson cloud directly from that page and or create a new lesson. Whatever he/she decides. It would be nice to incorporate that for g-suite users.

Hola:

Game Templates - more variety; audio
My class is special needs and they respond very well to the action and music. Custom templates: Could you create a few more templates and give teachers the choice to select their backgrounds and audio?

More user friendly when not in a live class
It would be helpful if the activities could be completed independently and then turn turned in. The website did not differentiate between which activities could be linked for students to do independently. I created a link for an activity that students couldn't even do. Apparently only handouts can be given independently.

Student paced activity where student can see other student responses.
For example a drag and drop collaborative page,
or a poll area where students cans see how much other items were voted on6 votes -
Students complete these lessons/tutorials on their own.
It would be nice to assign a lesson for students to complete outside the classroom. I would assign the lesson through Google Classroom, and students could complete whenever they have time.

Adding other teachers from your school into your SMART class.
I see a lot of middle school/ high school teachers requesting to create separate classes for each subject and I think that would be a great idea.
I was also wondering if their is a way we can add other teachers from our school into our classroom so that we can do collaborative teaching. I have paras and teachers signing in as students right now and they have a limit on what they can do during a class activity.

Allow students to see the Review Activity page in shout it out so they can see answers from home.
Since many of us are teaching from a distance, kids aren't in the classroom to see the main smartboard. I'd like them to be able to see all the student responses that I can see on my screen in the review activity page of Shout it Out.

Compliment
I would like to compliment that programmers for the recent improvements made to the online learning suite. I have been using the suite since it was SMARTAmp, and was so excited about the prospect but upset with some of the issues. The improvements in editing and allowing to send the lesson with a link have been a lifesaver during this distance learning challenge. Thank you!

Send a lesson over to a SMART Board
There seems to be no way to send a lesson on SMART Learning Suite Online directly to a SMART Board, as opposed to the Notebook software, from where you can perfectly do that.

Able to split a lesson
I sometimes design a lesson then realise that there is too much for one lesson. I would like to be able to 'split' a lesson and save it in two parts.

Could it be possible to allow teachers to type in a foreign language in SLSO? Such as Chinese, Japanese, French, and Spanish?
Allow foreign language teachers to use foreign language to create activities on SLSO.

Unlock the next page by finishing the activity on the current page.
SmartSuite has now got an asynchronous system whereby students can do the activities we created without having the teacher present in the class. This is such a big feature in this so this age where every school is doing distance learning. It would be great if the students could be locked to one page and do all the task there so that they do not skip the tasks we made on each page. Perhaps once they finish certain task on one page they can unlock the next page and so on. I hope you will consider this feature.

Ability to Upload YouTube Videos by Direct Link
It would be nice to have the ability to enter the direct link to a YouTube video instead of simply searching for the video by name. This would enable a teacher to upload her own YouTube video (which may not be a top search result).

Add Teacher "checkmark" to handout pages
It would be nice to have the ability for the teacher to "checkmark" handout pages they have already reviewed.

The ability to type while presenting (but not as an activity - just for the teacher to type when modeling a skill).

Record a voice over that can play when each slide is accessed.
I'd like to be able to actually teach over each slide instead of just have my kids read it independently. Kids learn in different ways and some of my kids just won't read this independently unless I am right over them. Maybe they might pay more attention if they hear my voice.

Teacher Comment on Individual Handout Activities
I would like to be able to comment on Individual Handout Activities when students are done so they can see where corrections are needed.
