Shake grouping
Bring back the feature that allowed for selecting multiple items and (shaking) to group rather than going through two drop down menus in order to group (or ungroup) items. I am grateful for the "Open in Notebook 22" feature in the view menu which I use everyday, but wish I didn't have to.

bookmark feature
A bookmark feature would allow a teacher to mark the page they're on, so they could continue seamlessly the next lesson.

Being able to deleted highlighted text or rewriting when highlighted
After writing text, you used to be able to click back onto the writing, highlight sections and rewrite it where it would automatically delete the writing and rewrite it, or highlight and delete it. Now it just highlights blue as if selected, but when you start typing it creates a new text box. Please change this feature back so it works as expected.

Stop auto changing size of writing
When opening a smartboard after it has been saved writing becomes a different size than what it was set as before it was closed. Please stop this, it is extremely frustrating.

When cloning a page, ensure all things on page are cloned the same
When cloning a page in previous versions, everything copied the same. Need this feature back as it is frustrating when cloning a page that settings change

I would love the ability to use the graph creator again. I am a math teacher and create formatted nots for my students.
I would love to have the math tools back; specifically the ability to create graphs (coordinate planes) for my lessons and notes.

Pinning documents to taskbar
Before 23, I was able to pin documents to the taskbar (as well as the program itself). There are workarounds, but the pins save me a ton of time.

bug: can't rotate compass when it's over a background image
This was initially listed as a feature request, but was marked as "completed", so I'm reposting as a bug - the feature is there in theory, but it doesn't work in practice! When I import a pdf and use the compass on top of it, the circle on top of the compass for rotating without drawing doesn't work!

PDF no longer works!!!

Please fix PDF export in the new version. Attaching the two PDF files - 10-02 - new version (horrible), and 10-04 - old version (that works).

Microsoft Print to PDF Lower Quality in Latest Version
In previous version the print to PDF feature would export high quality PDFs. The latest version has fonts appearing slightly blurry and low-quality graphics making grids illegible.
An update to ensure high quality PDFs when printing is needed.

Please fix the issue with custom colours being forgotten between slides.
Please fix the custom colour options so that colours are remembered. I can fill all custom colour boxes with a colour that I want as my background, but it is forgotten a few slides later.
If you were to allow changing the background colour of all slides at the same time, this would be less of an issue.
As it is, I need to go back to the slide that has the desired colour, save it to custom colours, apply it to the next slide, rinse and repeat.

Tools back!
I need the camera back! I need the split screen back! I need the pages to keep scrolling down! These were regular features used on a daily basis! If they are still there, I would love to know where!

2023-10-06 version does not solve much
The extend page button is back, but my other problems are still there with a new one.
Extend button at the bottom (Solve)
Poor Printing quality (Unsolve)
Geometric tools appear under other element on page, including picture from a Word print to Smart (Unsolved)
Link on one part of a locked text is applied to all the page that is group (Unsolved)
No more Notebook icon on de 23.1 version in the taskbar (new and unsolved)
(Now I have a icon in taskbar for 22 version)

New protractor should appear on top layer
If you create a new notebook by importing from a powerpoint or pdf, then create a Protractor tool, the protractor is hidden behind the imported background image. To find/use the protractor you have to unlock the background image, add the protractor (or another object to the page), then send the background image to the Back in the ordering menu, and THEN you can see your protractor!
Proposed fix: New protractors (and other tools) should automatically appear in the top layer, and/or imported background images should automatically be in the lowest layer.

Pen only selects objects
I am using SMART Notebook with an interactive display, and I can no longer draw on my slides with the latest update. When I select a pen from the movable tool bar in Full Screen view, it simply draws a selection box when I try to write. What happened?
