Allow import of HEIC images (from iPhones) into Notebook.
Students often take pics of things for me to import into Notebook. The iPhone default is .HEIC and this does not import properly. I can get around it by opening the file with Preview and then copying the content into Notebook (or saving the Preview file as .JPG) but it would be nice if .HEIC file could be imported as well. Thanks.

Free basic edition of SMART Notebook for Linux
SMART Tech provides a basic free modern edition of the SMART Notebook software for Windows and Mac users only. I would like please to request that SMART Tech offers also to the Linux users a modern free basic edition of the same software (SMART Notebook).
The current version (at the time I am writing, March 2023) of that SMART Notebook for Windows is 18 but for Linux it is only 11. Version 11 is not a modern version and it doesn't work with the recent Linux. It works only with Ubuntu 20.04 or Linux Mint 20.3 (because Mint 20.3 is…6 votes -

keyboard shortcuts for resizing objects
Please add keyboard shortcuts to easily resize the currently selected object(s) (images, text boxes, whatever). The standard [control]-[-] or [=] for smaller/bigger would be ideal.

I have Smart Notebook version 21.0.2987.0 and my school purchased the new smartboards (6000S) and unfortunately when you download a smart notebook file (not import to Lumio as many of the teachers do not like Lumio & only want to use Smart Notebook) the pencil wheel does not offer HOT PINK.
Many of the teachers are extremely upset that the new smartboards don't open smart notebook and you have to download it or convert it to Lumio!
I have attached the pictures so you can see the different color wheels that you get!

Please allow users to change the height of the menu bar.
Ever since V10 Smartnotebook has had a horribly fat menu bar, for no reason I can see. Attached: screenshot of menu bar from V9.7 and a menu bar from v18, with the toolbar items made small enough that it ought to be possible to shrink the height of the menu bar, but one cannot.

Saving font type and size
Every time I start writing a new piece of text, it goes back to Arial Size 36. I have to manually change it to what I want. Please can it be made so it saves our preference.

Animated objects (fade in) + not animated + grouping = invisible?
Version 22.
Situation
I group some lines and text and I animate it with "fade in". I get ‘shape 1’.
Shape 1 and needs to be clicked on to animate. I click on it to make it visible.
Then I add some numbers on it 3 4 5.
Then I group it.
And then the animated part becomes invisible (and the 3 4 5 stay visible)Wanted solution
When grouping items, for which part is animated with for example "fade in", please make sure to set property visible to true and then remove fade in, then only group.Also ...…

Formula editor still a joke
Notebook ... version 22. More than 10 versions after version 11.
And still no decent (fast to use) math-editor.- The latest one is sluggish.
- The latest one does not insert my equations, only the one "it" thinks are correctly formatted.
- The style (Times New Roman) .. without italic variables just does not feel correct.
Please bring back the formula-editor that was implemented in version 11!

Print Selected Pages
Select page thumbnails on the left side of the smart notebook, then go to Print, and have an option to "print only selected pages" (instead of having to note the page numbers and going "print pages 10-13")

Linjära ekvationssystem
Hej. Jag är lärare i matematik och har ett behov av att kunna skriva linjära ekvationssystem med "klammer". En funktion som funnits i tidigare versioner men som inte kan "läsas" in eller skapas i ekvationsskrivar- funktionen.
För mig är detta en stor brist.

Make the selector box stay the same size on high res screens
On high res screens the selection box (grey square with downwards triangle) and the handles (white circles) shrink so that they are very hard to hit with a finger.
Please make them keep a sensible size.
(Latest is v22. 365 suggestions. I am not sure this is going to get much attention and I will keep looking for an alternative)
