An error occurred while saving the comment Agree with this. At the moment we have to use annotate.net to achieve this on the Chromebooks. Lots of primary schools in the UK are moving staff over to Chromebooks and there are no Smart tool options to support us or our Smart whiteboards and Lumio.
Like annotate.net it could be a simple Chrome extension. -

Thank you for your feedback. We are looking into adding support for more fonts in Lumio including ones that do not use the "computer a".
An error occurred while saving the comment come on smart, until you catch up with your competition, ie figma and canva etc that let organisations upload and use fonts (even on chromebooks), then you're going to lose a lot of primary schools that need this for teaching handwriting.
An error occurred while saving the comment This is holding us back. we're trying to teach from the mx725v4 using the built in whiteboard and chromebooks using lumio. we have a school font we use for handwriting. all our old notebook english files use this font. in canva we are able to upload and use it, but not in lumio? this cannot be too hard to do Smart?

An error occurred while saving the comment I don't understand why Smart haven't implemented this?? Both Figma and Canva give us the ability to upload our school fonts (for handwriting) and use them in the program. On our chromebooks nothing imports properly. smart notebooks change the fonts, rendering them useless.

Thank you for your feedback! We love Notebook too; we've added functionality to it over the last 20 years and there's a lot in there.
We plan on continuing to add support for the best of Notebook features in Lumio and making your Notebook files work better when imported to Lumio. For example, we recently added support for shapes and lines and the MathType equation editor.
We would appreciate your input to help us prioritize the features that are the most important to you. Let us know your favorite specific features by voting on ideas. If you don't see your feature suggested already, create a new idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment I agree on the painfully slow progress. lumio is going to lose out to cloud based solutions like figma and canva, which have more useful features like the ability to upload a handwriting fonts, infinite canvas etc.
It seems that Smart supporting Legacy Notebook, will end up way behind the competition. Our school is already looking at these other solutions because of the above. -

Thanks for your feedback. We will look at how screen shade can be applied to instruction in Lumio. As a workaround for slowly revealing content, a foreground shape can be used as a manual screen shade for now.
