Thank you for your feedback! We love Notebook too; we've added functionality to it over the last 20 years and there's a lot in there.
We plan on continuing to add support for the best of Notebook features in Lumio and making your Notebook files work better when imported to Lumio. For example, we recently added support for shapes and lines and the MathType equation editor.
We would appreciate your input to help us prioritize the features that are the most important to you. Let us know your favorite specific features by voting on ideas. If you don't see your feature suggested already, create a new idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment Agree 100%! I have also spent years on my Notebook files, and was shocked to find basic functions missing from Lumio (animation, screen/cell shades...). What I don't understand is why two years later this is still an issue.

An error occurred while saving the comment I was shocked to find that the animation in my Smart Board documents didn't transfer when I converted to Lumio. Being able to fade images in and out is one of the best features of digital lesson delivery, and I appreciated that with Smart Board it didn't go in a specific order, as with Google slides. To learn that the animation from Google slides doesn't transfer either makes Lumio useless to me.

Thanks for your feedback. We will look at how screen shade can be applied to instruction in Lumio. As a workaround for slowly revealing content, a foreground shape can be used as a manual screen shade for now.

Thank you for making us aware of this issue. We are looking at ways to help teachers better identify signed in students and hold them accountable.
I complained three or four years ago about the size of the text boxes (especially compared to the graphics) on game-based pages in Smart Board. I am extremely dismayed to find that even in a new product, the same flaw exists. The boxes are too small to see words (especially long German words) clearly, even on an individual computer.
