Allow one teacher to have multiple class IDs for students from different sections to connect with their appropriate class
Provide teacher with the ability to have multiple class IDs so that files can be used with various sections that they teach and students can be linked to a particular section.
Thanks for your feedback. We are starting to explore options to make managing multiple classes in Lumio better.

I can second this suggestion with both hands up! It's very important for us teachers at the time of reviewing progress not to have all students together under one class id.

Multiple classes would be very helpful for me switching back and forth between different groups of learners.

YES! I teach over 120 students and all at different levels, so it is difficult to push out the same assignment to all classes. PLEASE PROVIDE MULTIPLE CLASSES OR ASSIGNMENT OPTIONS.

I would love this as well. I am a special education teacher and work with multiple levels of students, multiple subjects, etc. I would love to be able to have my kiddos split up by multiple classes.

Teachers need to be able to have multiple classes, (just like with google class) so each class group can be assigned work, and it's easier for teachers to check the work completed and enter grades.

Could we please have the ability to create classes? I would like to be able to assign work to particular class groups and also avoid students using pseudonyms or inappropriate names.

Does the teacher have access to change a student's name within Lumio?

Many teachers teacher multiple sections of students. It would help with organization if each class a teacher teaches had their own individual Class Clode. Similar to Google Classroom. Without it, students continually forget to sign out or leave the class and appear as students within other sections a teacher instructs.

I work with kids age 7 to 12 in the same classroom, so får me it is very important to have multiple classes so I can start multiple lessons in the same time.
Then I can have teh 7-year-old watch and work with one lesson ande the older ones with onother. Very important! -

I teach different lessons to different groups of students. I would not want my students to be able to access a class that they're not supposed to be in. It would be great if there was a way to have students connect by entering a unique LESSON CODE for each lesson instead of a universal class code.

I teach elementary art and pe to k-6th graders. I want to be able to have different classes so that I can make teams for games. I can't believe that a program with so much to offer doesn't have this feature.

This what I do as a work around if I must separate different classes that need access to the same presentation. I simply copy the lesson and name the different versions accordingly. In a live session, the different classes are in different presentations and in a student-paced version of the presentation, each class has it’s own unique link.
Hope this helps.

One class id shows that this was built in my mind for elementary teachers only. Why has this feature not been made a priority? I also need to see who has not logged in so I can prompt the students to log in. It is time consuming to figure our who is not logged in.

As much as I like the *idea* of this website, it doesn't function for me due to this issue.
The fact that we've had so many teachers ask for this over the past few years and especially during the pandemic without it being addressed is disappointing. -

This has been a request for a long time. Is there any update about getting this important feature added?

The lack of organization visually is a pain. Chronologic is useful, but only to a point. Combine it with class sections and it will be greatly improved.

Please add this feature ASAP. For teachers who teach 100+ students we are used to making a roster for each class period such as in Google Classroom and Clever. It would be so beneficial and easier if you would help us by allowing each class period to have a different code. Thanks for all the other upgrades.

Same request here... instead of resetting the Class ID, I want to create rooms for each individual class where they can get back to
Other reasons to want this: now, after two hours of teaching parallel classes, the hand out activity contains the results of 60 students, ordered alphabetically, not by class...Also: when I start a session (late at night, testing tomorow's lesson) and a student has the browser idle, he/she will appear as a attendee in that lesson.
