Please allow educators to pre-make groups before a session OR change groups within sessions. I have found myself wanting to keep the same group between slides, but I was forced to make new random groups. This would become a challenge with classroom management and students not being stay on course with ideas already shared.

It would be AMAZING if you would make it possible to pre-make groups of students for slides that have groups.
Also,allow the groups stay the same within a session instead of changing when you go to a new slide!

1) More efficient group assignment for multiple handouts:
I often work with learning stations where student groups complete multiple handouts on different topics. Currently, each group handout must be assigned manually to the respective group of students. It would be extremely helpful if groups could be defined either for the entire Lumio project or for a selected set of handouts. These groups should then automatically be assigned to the corresponding group handouts.

2) Assigning students to groups after initial setup:
In practice, students are sometimes absent at the moment when groups are created, but they later join the session online. At the moment, it is not possible to assign these students to existing groups without restarting the entire collaborative activity — which results in the loss of already created learning products. It would therefore be very beneficial if students who are part of the current Lumio project could be added to existing groups afterwards, ideally even while they are still offline.

I have heard this feedback from teachers several times. They love the way Lumio assigns groups workspace teams automatically. It often leads to very intentional and quick grouping in face-to-face classrooms.

What is missing is the ability to hold those groups from activity to activity.

The easy way to do this would be to introduce a button on the group workspace page before launching it that says "Use same Workspace groups from the previous activity."

That little feature would be so helpful for teachers!

For differentiation, this is vital!

^^This!! This would be so helpful that way I don't have to hurriedly make groups mid class or stop instruction to put my 30+ students back in order.

When you are adding a group activity to a Lumio lesson, it creates groups. If you create another group activity later on in the lesson, it does not save the groups from earlier in the lesson. It would be great to have a choice--keep same groups from before or create new groupings!

It would be nice if there was an option to have students "grouped together" in preset groupings instead of Lumio automatically sorting the students when there is a collaborative activity - this would be really beneficial for primary school classes

It is difficult to put together the same groups on different slides. There should be an option to keep the same groups when doing collaborative work.

It would be awesome if the groups I assign in the first collaborative workspace would apply to all other collaborative work spaces in the lesson. That would save alot of time!

I would also like to rearrange groups after students have started. Please keep in mind that sometimes students enter the class late. Right now these students are left out of the activities.

I love the fact that SLSO shuffles the kids into groups. That is great depending on the activity. Is there a way of pre-setting a group of kids?

When using the group learning activity it is very difficult to separate 30 kids into groups every time you want them to work together on an activity. We often asks kids to work together in the same group 4-5 times a class period. When we have to re-assign the groups every time it is very time consuming! If we were able to keep the same groups for the entire lesson or pre-assign groups before class starts this would save a lot of time.

When posting 10 workspace activities it is incredibly frustrating to have to re-do the groups on every single page. It wastes valuable time.

I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity based upon seating charts instead of random heterogeneous groups and moving afterwards. I like the heterogeneous groups for some activities but not all.
