Allow me to copy pictures from an existing file. I'd like to be able to copy pictures from an existing SMART document from an older version of SMART notebook.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m happy to report that you can now copy and paste text and images from page to page and also from other applications using keyboard shortcuts (ctrl-c and ctrl-v) in edit mode.

You can now add a custom title/question to Shout It Out and also customize its background.

Text needs to be able to be entered on handouts How can you offer handouts without the option to have a textbox/enter text on the handout. Many of our Chromebooks don't have a stylus.

You can now generate a student share link for them to access the lesson outside of class.

Voice recording Being able to use the "sound recorder"in notebook to record a voice over for students who either cannot read or are low level readers. I can already record it in notebook but it does not transfer to SLS online which is very frustrating. I would like to be able to record my voice reading a story and load it into SLS online so that my students can work independently on their activities.

Good news. You can now see student data for Super Sort, Match 'Em Up, and Rank Order. We will be adding activity dashboards to more activities in the future.

SmartLab capacity! Can I create multiples classes (French ; English; Maths..) in the same class lab but in separate folders?
That would be nice to organize them like that.

Good news. You can now organize lessons with folders. If you are integrated with Google Drive, you can organize lessons directly in Google Drive.

Reset Button The reset button was removed with most recent release of updates to SLSO (April 2019). Which I am SUPER excited to now have the same tools for handouts and workspace. But put the reset button back, at least for Handouts, so students can start again without having to try to do so manually. Also a reset button on regular pages would be handy as well as a teacher presents in case they need to rewrite and do an activity again. Less manual time wasting.

Direct integration with Google Drive Our school is moving over to Chrome OS and as a result can only use online or cloud based platforms - Many of us have moved over to Google Slides to present our work as .Notebook files are yet to open efficiently enough online, I would like to see notebook files opening from within google drive, a chrome extension would allow this - or to be able to open a notebook from from Google Drive when using SMART learning suite online eliminating the need to download from Google drive just to import in to the SMART learning suite online. Text in SLS online In the “workspace” on SLS online it would be good for students to be able to type and insert text into the workspace not just use the pen to write.

Physics simulations Simulations that can be used in the classroom in lieu of doing dangerous experiments in the classroom. There is a site that I use every now and then, https://phet.colorado.edu/, that has a ton of simulations but they are mostly Flash. Having something like that would be great.

Our school is using CANVAS LMS now.

Good news. Lumio is now integrated with Canvas as a LTI 1.3 app. We will be adding integration with Canvas assignments soon.

Home access for students I would like students to be able to complete lessons at home for extra practice.
1 voteHi. Thank you for your feedback. We just released some new features that will enable you to do this. You can now use the more (3 dots) menu on the lesson to get a student share link that can be posted in an LMS/Google Classroom. Students can then click on the link at home to continue their work or practice.
