Teachers team teach and co-build the same resources all the time. if you be great to see two or more teachers working on the same lesson at the same time. So basically I would be putting together slide 1 and another teacher can be on slide 4 and another teacher can be working on slide 10. The same would be great for students, if a group of students can be co-authoring a lesson and submit it for assessment52 votes
Thank you for the suggestion. We will look at adding a co-editing experience for the future. As for students, the Workspace activity is where they can currently co-author content for a project or assignment.
Make it share-able with colleague so we can collaborate88 votes
Thank you for the suggestion. Do you mean co-editing a lesson like with a Google Doc or similar share resources with other teachers so that they can use content you’ve created in your lessons? For the latter, we now support the ability to share copies of lessons with other teachers with a share link, or if you are using our newly launch Google integration, you can share a copy using Google sharing as well.
Do not eliminate wrong answers on Monster quiz. I have students that click through answers quickly to finish first.
I want students to take their time and actually work out math problems. They will click through answers because if they get it wrong it will just go away and they will eventually get it right by simply clicking through and guessing enough.24 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. We will consider this as an option to customize the quiz. In our initial test play, the game could end up taking a very long time without removing the already selected options, and we saw some teams become bored as they were waiting for others to finish.
This is an interesting suggestion. How do you imagine this working? Would it be like a digital story book, where students can touch/click words to read them out?
Please make the pictures on matching bigger. They are very small, especially when on iPads and my students can't read them.39 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. One challenge we have with making pictures larger is how it may potentially break the layout of the activity depending on the number of items you have.
However, we totally understand the need for them to be bigger. If we provided a way to magnify the text or image temporarily for students (e.g. by tapping on them), would that alleviate this problem?
I would like to have an assessment that draws questions randomly from a "bank" so no two students will have the same questions (not just randomize order)23 votes
Thanks for your suggestion. Do you have an existing question bank you would like us to pull from?
I teach 4 classes a day with the same lesson. I would like the option of not saving changes made during presentation mode.
Since I teach four classes the same math lesson. I have to have 4 copies of the same lesson since it automatically saves any changes that I make during the lesson. I would like the option to save or not save the file when going back to the homepage.13 votes
Hi Vickie. Thank you for your feedback. Do you use any activities such as Shout It Out in the lessons that you teach? One of the side effects of not saving lesson changes and reusing the same lesson is that any student data/work will be lost.
Also, what kind of changes do you not want to save? If it’s a page designed as an activity where you move objects, one workaround is to convert the page to a “Handout” activity, which gives you the ability to “play” the activity and easily reset it back to the original state. Would that help with your workflow?
This is certainly something we will consider, but I wanted to make sure we explored some alternatives.
Please make the character in responses unlimited!!17 votes
Good suggestion. We will definitely consider it for our backlog.
Monster quiz multiple choice only allows answer choices that are text based. This feature would be improved by allowing an image to be inserted for different answer choices. For example, a question could be given an equation, and each answer choice would show a different graph image.14 votes
Good suggestion. We will consider it for our backlog.
There are times I need to temporarily hide/disable a slide, but I do not what to delete the slide.8 votes
Thanks for your suggestion. Will a screen shade work to gradually reveal information on the slide?
I would like for students while in centers to be able to work on 2 different activities at the same time. Such as one group on monster quiz and one a document that I created.11 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. We may be able to support this use case soon with some of the work that we are doing around asynchronous lesson access for students. Stay tuned.
There is no way to get rid of objects on the regular lesson pages.6 votes
Thanks for the feedback, Kate. We may be adding more editing functionality to the delivery experience to tweak the content. May I ask if the delete is for removing new objects created with infinite cloner?
If the page with the infinite cloner is meant as an activity, one way to deal with objects created is to explicitly convert the page to a Handout activity. Not only does this enable all students to interact with the activity, but it also allows you to reset the activity, thus removing objects created with infinite cloner.
I would like the ability to import student rosters when using the different features like Respond.6 votes
Thanks for the feature request, Tiffany. Can you please provide a bit more detail about how you would use the imported roster? Is this to make sure students who participate in assessments are actually from your class? Would enabling students to sign in to join rather than self identify help?
in order to facilitate grading for teachers using g suite, we should have the capability to convert the results of an entire class who took a response 2 to a google sheet. As it stands, we can only convert results to an excel document.5 votes
Good suggestion, Zach. We will explore this for our backlog. Is there a particular format for how we should export the data in Google Sheets to make grading even easier?
Instead of characters could we upload an image for a question in speed race, game show and monster quiz.4 votes
Hi. Thanks for your feedback. We will consider this for our backlog.
I would like to see the name generator hat icon available to the left side of an SLSO notebook ready to use at anytime with one click of a button.9 votes
Good idea, Candace. We are working on adding interactive randomizers to lessons in SLS Online. A persistent randomizer for student names makes a lot of sense. Perhaps we can do that in the class panel to automatically pick the name of one of the connected students.
I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity instead of moving students around once they're put by the program.
I'd like to be able to set groups on a collaborative work space activity based upon seating charts instead of random heterogeneous groups and moving afterwards. I like the heterogeneous groups for some activities but not all.4 votes
Thanks for your feedback, Erin. We will consider this for our backlog. As a workaround for now, you can re-adjust the groups after the initial random set by dragging and dropping the student names. It is more cumbersome because you will likely have to do this every time.
Need a feature for co-teachers to share the same account as a teacher not a student.4 votes
Thanks for your suggestion. We will consider this feature for our backlog. Is the requirement for multiple teachers to have access to the same set of lessons? Are there scenarios where multiple teachers will be teaching from the same account at the same time?
I would like to be able to add a co-teacher to the SLSO so they could login and access the games.4 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider it for our backlog. Would you want the co-teacher to be able to access all lessons in your lesson library, and would you want them to be able to edit the lessons as well?
- Don't see your idea?
