Copy slides into new separate lessons
Be able to copy a page/slide and transfer it to a different lesson. Sometimes I want to take an activity and apply it to a different lesson, sometimes as a recap. I don't want to recreate the page again - I just like to copy it into the new lumio (like you can with a Ppt).

Add transparency slider for images on custom backgrounds in game-based activities
It would be extremely helpful to add an option to adjust transparency of background image for game-based activities with custom backgrounds so that primary text and images are easily seen.

Grid View in Editing Mode
Please allow us to expand the slides from the left side of the screen into a grid view for editing. With lengthy presentations, it is cumbersome to rearrange slides.

Add effects to boxes and things that cover texts or images
I like to use boxes to cover up definitions, etc. until we discuss it as a class. Then after we talk about it, I click on it and it appears (can do this with text as well). I know smart notebook had this capability, but it's not capable within Lumio. It will let me create a box but no object transformations like fading out.

full page
When I transfer a SMART Notebook doc to Lumio, less than 60% of the SMART Board screen is in use. Hard for students beyond row 3 to see content. I, as the editor, should be able to extend screen vertically and horizontally to have it be seen by all students anywhere in the room.

Can we please get a google slides or powerpoint extension like Nearpod has?
with nearpod, I can work directly from google slides using an extension. This would be a great benefit for Lumio.

Be able to change the slide template without having to create a whole new slide.
I love all the different templates available in Lumio! The drawback to all the templates is you cannot just change the template of a slide. I have to create an entirely new slide if I want to change the template. It would be great to be able to change just the template and all the information on the slide would still be available instead of creating a entirely new slide.

Add divide shape ability to Lumio.
Add divide shape ability to Lumio. This can currently be done in SMART Notebook, but it doesn't transfer to Lumio.

Download student worksheets
Making 140 copies of the same packet, taking all those packets home on Friday in a filing box looking like I have just been fired, spreading out the packets on our dining room table, angering my wife and giving me anxiety are the days of the past.
THANK YOU LUMIO for releasing me of this burden!
To help my gradebook, I would love to download the edited student worksheets to place in a file on my computer.
This would allow teachers to more effectively share work with Special Education Case Managers for student work samples.
This would allow grading teachers…40 votesplanned · AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) respondedThanks Hunter for your feedback and all the great example use cases. Student data and reporting is a key priority for the Lumio team in 2022, and what you described is certainly on the roadmap.

Hyperlinked Text option
Teachers would like to create a hyperlink through the ability to create hyperlinked text on a slide in a presentation.

Students Viewing Work Later
I'd like students to be able to easily VIEW their work later. When I use the "share with students" link, it allows students to edit their previous work even though I've "ended" the session. I don't want students to be able to edit their work after I've ended the session. I want them to only be able to VIEW it and be able to access this non-editable work at a later date.

Math Type for Students to use
Students don't have a way to type math symbols, but teachers do. It makes it very difficult to have them show their work without it.

Auto Fill Shapes
It would be nice to be able to automatically fill an object with color. For example, draw a triangle outline and tap to fill it with the same color, or change colors and tap to fill.

I have two classes with the same materials, I would like to easily drag and place from one to the other, it'll save me time, and I will know that both have the same slides.

Ruler or Grid Lines
Is it possible to add a ruler, or a grid, to help create slides in Lumio? I would like a guide when creating pages to ensure the elements are even and/or straight.

Resize boxes in Rank Order
It would be great to have the ability to make the boxes larger in Rank Order. When you only have a few options the boxes can look quite small and lost on the page. It can also be tricky to get the options to go into the correct box as they are smaller in size than the options. Younger learners might end up putting the selection in the box above or below by mistake.

Dots on the shape tools
I teach K and 1st grade technology. It would be helpful if the larger dot and smaller dots on the shape tools (resize and turn) were different colors. It would make it easier to differentiate them when explaining how they work.

Equation Editor - First Click
Context:
During a meeting, a usability issue occurred with the Equation Editor, which resonated with multiple individuals in the room (former teachers).Problem:
When creating/editing a lesson, a user clicks on the Equation Editor, but nothing seems to happen (unlike the Add Shape button,
which pops open the 'shape' window). The user is forced to click on the slide (unintuitive) before the 'formula' window opens. The presentation lost seconds and left the room disoriented. This UIUX issue impacts both Smart boards and online versions.Expected result:
When a user clicks on the Equation Editor, a window should pop up with…5 votes
