This is instead of having to physically remove the usb cable from the pc or or smartboard.

Text boxes can no longer be moved easily. In addition, copying and pasting text from SN is no longer simple. Text boxes could be easily clicked on and moved around the page in previous versions. That is no longer the case. In addition, I used to be able to copy and paste text into other applications easily. Now it has to be "pasted as plain text".

Lined and squared paper disappears Lined and squared paper disappears when you close and reopen the file even when you have saved this. Please can it be fixed so it stays when reopened once it has been saved and closed.

Full Screen Menu Bar is broken in Smart Notebook 23 In Smart Notebook 23 the menu bar that appears in full screen is no longer functional. In Smart Notebook 22 I was able to use this menu bar with a pen for the plasma screen to select a pen colour or highlighter. This no longer works in Smart Notebook 23 and any selection made with either a pen or finger affects the mouse only. When smart notebook is not in full screen, the ribbon will still recognise a pen or finger selection and allow the pen/finger to be used as selected, but the full screen menu bar will not. This…

When hovering over a text box in 23 the cursor remains as an arrow. For some reason, when you have trying to type in a text box in Notebook 23 the cursor remains as an arrow instead of the class capital i shape with a top and a bottom on it. This makes is too ambiguous if you have actually accessed the text box to type. Please fix this ASAP

Bring Back the Interactive Hundred Chart This chart was amazing for teaching students multiple mathematical concepts e.g. multiples of numbers, bridging to 10s etc. It was engaging, easy to use and had a variety of uses.

Fix protractor The previous protractor was transparent and had a center. It was a great way to teach students how to use a protractor properly to measure angles. Now it either completely covers the angle or, if you switch the order, is very difficult to line up the vertex point. Please go back to the old version!

Mesure tools When using Mesure tools in Math, everything now appear by default under images that are already there instead of in front of the page. It's a big problem for those who import Word or PDF files by printing in Notebook format because the entire page is always in front of the ruler or compass or anything else. When I insert a ruler, it need to be in front of the rest. Here is a file with that problem and a few others.

Microsoft Print to PDF Lower Quality in Latest Version In previous version the print to PDF feature would export high quality PDFs. The latest version has fonts appearing slightly blurry and low-quality graphics making grids illegible.
An update to ensure high quality PDFs when printing is needed.

New protractor should appear on top layer If you create a new notebook by importing from a powerpoint or pdf, then create a Protractor tool, the protractor is hidden behind the imported background image. To find/use the protractor you have to unlock the background image, add the protractor (or another object to the page), then send the background image to the Back in the ordering menu, and THEN you can see your protractor!
Proposed fix: New protractors (and other tools) should automatically appear in the top layer, and/or imported background images should automatically be in the lowest layer.

Resizing pictures smaller You used to be able to resize any pictures taken from the internet to a lot smaller, but now it stops at a random size. It was really useful being able to resize images to what ever size we desired.

Bring back features that were useful for those who actually use the program! Bring back extend page feature and the equation editor that matched the Mathtype program; also, the 'export to PDF' now takes any written text on a slide and converts to an illegible font, when before it essentially took a screenshot of the slide with the original writing and saved the file; I am aware that I can 'view in Notebook 22' but I don't understand the need then for Notebook 23.
