I must be missing something, but I felt like the SMART Ink in Notebook 2016 was the same as Notebook 15.2 in terms of the number of pens. None the less, having access to all of those pen options is fabulous! It's great to save favorites for easy access. One ongoing challenge for our teachers with SMART Ink, however, is that the symbols are very small to read - especially on 600 series boards with LCD projectors.

I am connected to a SMARTBoard. I can use the laptop to draw but when I select the pen and then try to draw in SMARTNotebook, nothing happens. I can move the mouse around and it is a little pen but there is not ink. I also tried the controls in Smart Ink to see if that would work and those controls are not working to produce ink.

I like having access to more pens. It really gives them life outside of Notebook and sometimes those pens come in handy. Many times I would just use transparent background to achieve what I was trying to do but this gives me more control.
