Thanks for the suggestion. This is something that we’re looking into right now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedHere are a couple of my observations after checking out the new Equation Editor. When creating an integral from -2 to 2, for example, the -2 is located too far over to the right making it display a little awkwardly. On a related note, it would be helpful to be able to insert blank spaces where needed like we can do in other equation editors. I tried doing some combination keystrokes to see if I could discover this feature, but it doesn't seem to be available.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedOops - I just realized these new themes must not have any sound, as my other themes with sound, such as rock band, are working just fine. The confusing part is that there is a sound icon in the basketball and pirate themes which imply sound.
An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedThe new basketball and pirate themes are great, but for some reason, I wasn't able to hear the sound with them even when the volume on my computer was turned on. I didn't notice pirates in Super Sort as advertised, but I did find pirates in rank order. It's great to see new themes continually added for variety. Thanks!
An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI have mixed feelings about SMART Response 2. While I'm all in favor of making a product easier to use and more modern, I'm sure there will be many teachers in our district who will be disappointed at seeing the teacher tools going away. It will also be a deal-breaker for the teachers in buildings where a great deal of money has been invested in SMART Response devices which can no longer be used. Please consider keeping the original SMART Response as an available option.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedGreat idea to be able to add more things to Favorites. I'm not connected to a board right now, so I'm not able to give this a full test.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedIt's an awesome idea to not have to enter the code every time. It will be great to see how this continues to evolved with additional options. Keep up the great work!

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedThe Monsters Quiz is a great addition to SMART lab! As mentioned below, a QR code would be great for all of the interactive activities, as it's the norm for so many other apps the students are used to from other vendors. It's so much more efficient in the classroom. Keep up the great work in adding new and fun activities!

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedAt a quick glance, it appears to be a "cleaner" look, but, in my opinion, the monotone coloring of the icons doesn't make it quite as easy to find the desired feature. I'm sure we'll get used to it, but it didn't seem necessary to make this change.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI agree with Ronald's feedback. The darkened screen does make it so much harder to make a selection.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedYes, it would be nice to be able to adjust the frame size to fill the screen. It would be nice to still have the option for it not to fill the screen, so teachers can write some additional content above/below the frame when needed.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI love this feature that was added in 15.2. I did notice it hasn't been working properly in 15.2 lately, so it's great to see it up and running with version 16! A very handy tool indeed!

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI must be missing something, but I felt like the SMART Ink in Notebook 2016 was the same as Notebook 15.2 in terms of the number of pens. None the less, having access to all of those pen options is fabulous! It's great to save favorites for easy access. One ongoing challenge for our teachers with SMART Ink, however, is that the symbols are very small to read - especially on 600 series boards with LCD projectors.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI love the new themes! Having sound on a few of them is fun! One little thing I noticed is that the rock band speakers have a significant line going across the middle of the speakers which misleadingly looks like it's divided into two sections (top/bottom half) when dragging content into the speakers. Maybe just softening that line a little bit in that graphic would help.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI understand where SMART is going by changing the icon into a gamification symbol, but I don't think this is quite the right symbol. Maybe a game board piece/pawn would work.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedResponse feedback to students - Rather than saying "Great job!" after they submit their answers, would be better just to say "Thank you! Your answers have been submitted." Otherwise, "Great job!" may imply to a student that he/she did well on the assessment even if he/she didn't. This is also true for "Shout it Out!" feedback upon submission.
An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedWould be nice to be able to use QR codes for Response and Shout it Out! It's cumbersome to enter the 8-digit number, especially for younger students. For 1:1 iPad rollouts, the QR code has become the universal way of connecting to a link, so it would be great to see it here too.
An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI agree with Giancarlo's feedback below. I also thought of the work-around to prepare my content in advance, but it should be available while creating an assessment. I also found this to be true when trying to drag content into other tools, such as LAB activities. It will be very important that original Response assessments transfer over well. Would be nice to have the original and new versions available at the same time as a back-up plan during the transition. Response 2 isn't as robust as Response 1 yet, so please don't take away the original until it's at a comparable level.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedImage search with included source link is a fabulous feature! Images do tend to load very slowly though. Would also be nice to be able to drag some typed text from the Notebook page into the search bar.

An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedWidget settings - it's not intuitive to click on the gear when you're done editing various widget settings, such as with the dice, for example. Would be nice to have a "Save" or "Exit" or "Back" button to make it more clear.
An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedI agree with Mike's comment that we need good HTML 5 replacements for Random Word/Image Chooser and Random Group Picker (text/image). Along those same lines, it would be nice if the Hat Pick and Buzzer from LAB could be independently available as Widgets.
Geri Feiock supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Geri Feiock commentedThe widgets are fabulous! It's awesome how customizable they are. I love how the timer has the option to ring a bell and then go on to the next page. Would be great to be able to adjust the default start time on the timer. The clock is awesome too! Great to be able to remove the second hand, switch to 24 hour clock, and manually adjust/pause/reset the hands.
On a related note, I'm curious which customization options were added to the spinner, timer, and dice widgets, as I'm not able to notice any differences. (My fingers are crossed for spinner transparency and image insertion ...) "Our most popular widgets have also been updated with many new customization options- this includes the dice, spinner and timer."
