The undo algorithm is inconsistent
In SMART Notebook 23.2, the algorithm for undo when inking seems to be counter-intuitive. Sometimes, it just undoes the most recently inked thing, which is what I would expect. Other times, it undoes the last 2 minutes worth of writing. Oddly, if I erase some ink and then click undo, it does NOT undo the erasure, but rather undoes the ink that was written earlier and leaves the partially erased ink there. Can your developers please debug/refine the undo algorithm in SMART Notebook?

Bequemlichkeit
Es fehlen viele, eigentlich normale Bequemlichkeitsfunktionen bei der Bedienung von Notebook auf dem PC.
- Ich möchte mit zwei Fingern auf dem Touchpad ein- und auszoomen können. - - Ich möchte mit zwei Fingern nicht nur nach oben und unten, sondern auch nach links und rechts scrollen können.
- Ich möchte die Möglichkeit haben, vorher erstellte Tafelbilder an einem Raster auszurichten, damit alle Objekte sauber zueinander stehen
- Ich möchte bei Tabellen mehrere Zellen gleichzeitig auswählen, um Schriftgröße oder ähnliches einstellen zu können
- Ich möchte Textfelder mit einem Rahmen versehen können, für den ich nicht extra ein Rechteck zeichnen…1 vote -

Streamline Camera.
When taking photos with the camera feature please put the dropdown menu back under the choices(full screen, partial, etc...) where we can check a box to "save to current SMART notebook page" or "save to new SMART notebook page" so we don't have to click that choice EVERY time we take a picture. I just want to make a choice once and then take tons of pictures at a time and have them all so the same thing. Previous versions had this option.

Make the Match Em Up game suitable for long math equations
When using the activity, Match Em Up, the software does not support long equations like 8(3x -7) = 6(4x +6) without jumbling up the equation. Also, posting pictures does not help because it is too small to see. This activity works with very few characters like 2x = 8.

Improve Print Preview
Print Preview page is constantly refreshing whenever you change the smallest detail and it takes ages just to set a few options and then print. It never used to do this.

Please offer Presentation mode
There should be a "presentation mode", in addition to editing mode. In presentation mode, your hand can't accidentally trigger edits on the touch screen. In editing mode, accidental touch causes objects on the page to jump around as if you were trying to move them.

Changes for stable work needed!
Awful update. Everytime at least once during the work on materials the programme closes and doesn't save newly added infos. With previous version it has never occurred. It irritates and steals my time. There is also problem with speed and comfort of editing already added texts. The tables don't work as it was. I have wasted time by editing it without real success.

Recent Files missing from Windows Taskbar menu
When I right click Smartboard from the Windows task bar, it no longer shows recent files or allows me to pin frequently used files. It worked fine until the update so not sure if it's a SMART Notebook issue or a Windows needing to catch up issue. Other programs still allow this such as Word or Excel.

Hi! I know that others have recommended this. I've mentioned it in the past as well. The Mac version needs to support 4K files!
At work, I use a PC. The files generated by SMART Notebook 23 and 24 do not load correctly in my Mac at home. This is because the Mac version of SMART Notebook does not seem to be 4K friendly.
I think this is a must-fix at this point. There must be thousands of other cross-platform users out there. This makes it impossible to use my home computer to edit any of my existing Notebook files. If you need some examples of how this is a limitation, I'm happy to provide screenshots or videos for your support team. Thank you!

REIMPLIMENT BASIC GRAPHIC CONTROLS
When drawing a line please reinstate the snap horizontal and snap vertical options.
When scaling shapes holding "shift" or "control" ought to maintain proportions.
These are basic Windows controls and were correctly implemented in previous versions. Where and why have they gone? It is very hard to teach maths when you can't realiably construct diagrams.

Can we have a date that updates it self on the board? Just like the interactive timers/clocks but an interactive date.
For teaching it is important to have the date. It would save time if it could be inserted and update automatically.

be able to change the background colour of the clock and make it smaller
I love the clock, but the black background for the digital? It would be great for the background to match that of the page and have the digits a choice of a few colours?

Automatic Page sizing
In previous versions if you remove something from a page the page automatically resized to fit the writing on the page. Now because I extended a page to accommedate the work I was writing on the board it stays extended when I decided to save it as a pdf and the printing is very small, to the point of being unreadable. Bring the page resizing feature back along with the preview before you save to a pdf of what the page is going to look like.

Fix equation editor + more nonsens
Can somebody please create a NORMAL equation editor. The current editor is terrible. Ever since the old (version 13) mathtype equation editor is out of notebook software, I am not a happy teacher.
And I did have a workaround *until version 22.
I could install version 13 first and then 20-21-22 .. and the equation editor from version 13 would still be available. Now in version 23 it is not working anymore. So now I am going back to 22.
Also 22 is better because:
- The new selection of objects is wobbly
- I cannot copy a line segment anymore by…

Ik zet onderaan de lessen ook het huiswerk voor de volgende keer. Normaal gezien kon ik altijd selecteren, kopiëren en plakken in Magister, maar nu niet meer. Ik wil die functie graag terug.
