REIMPLIMENT BASIC GRAPHIC CONTROLS
When drawing a line please reinstate the snap horizontal and snap vertical options.
When scaling shapes holding "shift" or "control" ought to maintain proportions.
These are basic Windows controls and were correctly implemented in previous versions. Where and why have they gone? It is very hard to teach maths when you can't realiably construct diagrams.

Can we have a date that updates it self on the board? Just like the interactive timers/clocks but an interactive date.
For teaching it is important to have the date. It would save time if it could be inserted and update automatically.

be able to change the background colour of the clock and make it smaller
I love the clock, but the black background for the digital? It would be great for the background to match that of the page and have the digits a choice of a few colours?

Automatic Page sizing
In previous versions if you remove something from a page the page automatically resized to fit the writing on the page. Now because I extended a page to accommedate the work I was writing on the board it stays extended when I decided to save it as a pdf and the printing is very small, to the point of being unreadable. Bring the page resizing feature back along with the preview before you save to a pdf of what the page is going to look like.

Fix equation editor + more nonsens
Can somebody please create a NORMAL equation editor. The current editor is terrible. Ever since the old (version 13) mathtype equation editor is out of notebook software, I am not a happy teacher.
And I did have a workaround *until version 22.
I could install version 13 first and then 20-21-22 .. and the equation editor from version 13 would still be available. Now in version 23 it is not working anymore. So now I am going back to 22.
Also 22 is better because:
- The new selection of objects is wobbly
- I cannot copy a line segment anymore by…

Ik zet onderaan de lessen ook het huiswerk voor de volgende keer. Normaal gezien kon ik altijd selecteren, kopiëren en plakken in Magister, maar nu niet meer. Ik wil die functie graag terug.

regular polygons
The regular polygon tool no longer draws regular polygons. The angles are all wrong. Perhaps the tool has not been updated to cope with the 16:9 screen resolution.

Working correctly would be a HUGE improvement.
In this latest version, I am using an EPSON projector and pen. In the last two weeks I am constantly having pens just freeze on one tool. For example, I am picking a black pen, getting a red pen. I then select the eraser, but it is still a red pen. Cannot select any other tool except red pen.
Closing the program and restarting sometimes temporarily solves this problem, but it returns constantly. I love this product when it works. I am constantly let down. ALSO trying to attach the ZIP file that your program created as a diagnostic, this…2 votes -
Press shift to get horizontal/vertical lines
When dragging a line out, please can pressing shift snap the line to be horizontal or vertical. It used to snap to horizontal or vertical when you were close automatically (which was sometimes a pain) but it would be handy to be able to control that like you can in Word for example.

Update language translations
Swedish translation is partially out-of-date and partially incorrectly translated. For example "upphetsad" from "excited". As this word means that the person is (sexually) excited, not (joyful/angry) excited, it's quite inappropriate.
Depending on if it's joyful-excited or angry-excited, it'd be: (joy) "exalterad" or (anger) "upprörd". It's brought some giggles around the office.

locked items become unlocked if held too long
When locking items to move only in a certain direction, it needs to stay like this, not revert to unlocked if held for a longer period of time. This is frustrating when you have children using the board and deliberating their thoughts and 'hold' onto the locked item, thus unlocking it.

Drag and drop images into activities
It seems that dragging and dropping an image into an activity (for example, cards) is not possible anymore on the latest update... Now we have to click to open a new window and search for the image we want to add, click to close the window and so on... It takes a lot longer that simply dragging and dropping the image the way it used to be! Could we please go back on the way it was?

Locked ink not erasable.
Whenever I lock anything written with the pens, it should not be possible to still erase. This defeats the purpose of locking it at all.
4 votesHi Michael, I am unable to recreate this issue. Can you give me additional details? Are you viewing on a computer or on a panel? Are you using the eraser tool or a your palm? Can you confirm which version of Notebook you're using? Those types of specifics.

Allow us to determine "page size" in default page preferences. I prefer 4x3, and find changing each page from its default as a time waste.
