Geometry triangle - Course triangle
It would be great if you could have the triangle in different versions. A triangle to determine the course would be very helpful for our needs in class. Or is there a way to adjust the angle determination ?

Print Selected Pages
Select page thumbnails on the left side of the smart notebook, then go to Print, and have an option to "print only selected pages" (instead of having to note the page numbers and going "print pages 10-13")

GIF images
I'd like the Notebook application to have the ability to use GIF images if found off the internet. It seems very trendy for social media nowadays. I am a deaf and hard of hearing teacher where we use ASL to communicate in the classroom. I wanted to use some GIF clips that contains ASL, or images that moves in a loop.

batch background change
I would love to see an option to (batch) change the background color/pattern for an entire existing Notebook file. It would save me so much time!!

Allow shrinking, cropping, or resizing of pages
Extend page seems to happen automatically sometimes when resizing windows or switching monitors, etc. There does not seem to be a way to undo that extension. It would be useful to be able to shrink (crop blank space from) a page before printing or exporting or uploading to Lumio.

Bring back the widget SDK in order to code your own widgets. I've met a lot of teachers/people who are creative and capable of coding widgets.

Warning for not supported objects when sharing files with Lumio/SMART SMART iQ™
If you are sharing SMART Notebook® files to your SMART account using the menu "Files | Share..." there should be a warning if the SMART Notebook® file is containing objects which won't work in Lumio™ by SMART or SMART iQ™ (like a widget, a GeoGebra object etc.). This would prevent false expectations when opening the files in the classroom with Lumio or SMART iQ™. Of course the perfect solution would be to make all the possible objects in the SMART Notebook® software supported in Lumio and SMART iQ™.

Adjustments for imported Bitmaps: Contrast and Brightness
I regularly import scans/photos/document camera snapshots from book, papers etc. and they do not always have a good contrast and/or brightness. Which should not be a problem, since a contrast/brightness adjustment is trivial.
However, Notebook does not provide an option to adjust contrast and/or brightness after adding a bitmap.
Which is especially annoying for pictures that are imported directly from the document camera, which not always provide good contrast. Yes, even if using the best possible settings on the camera itself. And even if the settings were not optimal (which can happen), there is no reason not to provide an…

I miss the random word chooser
Years ago, when you supported flash, there was a random word chooser and a random group generator. I used to use that daily to choose students at random in my class and still miss it.

Shout it out
For SLS Online, students can't see the results or the questions posed in Shout it out. They can only post their own answers (up to 3 submissions). It would be great for them to be able to see the results!

Allow us to set our own defaults for text
Please allow us to set our own defaults for line spacing, paragraph format and font. It is frustrating to have to repeatedly change line spacing, or remove the space after paragraph etc.

Dear Sir/Madam, it would be great if I could set the pen width to a specific default value. Mine is always too thick for my liking.
Not sure if my version is correct. It says under About Notebook --> Tech support Version 19.0.1386.0 on OSX 10.14.6.
It would be really useful to be able to change the pen width in default settings. So far I have not been able to change them.

Remove the Watermark
I have many lessons that I have created over the years using SMART notebook. Unfortunately I am teaching from home and obviously do not have a SMARTboard in my house. Now those lessons that I created cannot be used because of the watermark. Please consider removing the watermark until this Covid crisis is over. Thank you!

Be able to customize the floating tool bar. I'd like to have specific things that I typically toggle between instead of going to the menu options each time.

Increase speed and reduce latency with ink while writing on a Board or Display
Everywhere outside Notebook Digital ink is fast.
You can see it in MS Whiteboard or in Ink Post its on the Desktop coming from SMART Ink.
In Notebook it feels like there is latency while writing.4 votes -
ENABLE VIDEO INSERTING
Enable inserting videos directly so we do not have to find links from you-tube or anywhere else to insert them. That way we can produce original content and load our own videos made in the classroom which makes it more specific to our classrooms. Thanks.
