resize objects
You cannot resize the width and height differently or manipulate objects by cropping them like you can in powerpoint. What if I don't want the resize to be the same ratio?

in math equation tool I no longer can make a space or use delete or backspace (in early version it work. It deletes the whole page instead.
In math equation I can't make a space or use delete or backspace button on the keyboard. It just deletes the whole page instead. In earlier version it worked properly.

360 Images for SMART
Would love to see and use 360 images for students to participate in virtual field trips similar to Nearpod. AR and VR are coming to education!

watermark
Please provide a way to hide the watermark in Notebook Basic. Our schools in Ontario are closed right now b/c of pandemic and we cannot get into the school to connect to a smartboard right now. Perhaps extend trial time to 180 days?

Animations
Subsequent animations for an object. I would like an option to animate an object to fade in when pressed and then subsequently fade out when pressed again. Or an option to indefinitely have an object toggle between fade in and out each time it is pressed. I currently have to go forward and back a page to "reset" an animation.

Keeping Up With The Klassroom Teachers
I use Notebook every single day for multiple courses and have done so for 8+ years. While I love this software, there have been minimal, miniscule changes in the last 4 versions. It's disappointing when a widely used tool doesn't progress to meet the needs of its users.
Here are some basic changes that I REALLY hope to see in the near future:
- Ability to set a default font & size.
- Ability to set a default pen, line, & eraser thickness.
- Option for hiding fonts that appear in dropdown menu
- Put a "recently used" or "favorites" section at the beginning…

build an interactive thermometer that shows CELCIUS
Kids learn best when they can manipulate the mercury to travel up and down the thermometer to reflect the temperature of the day.
Numbers need to be big. Ensure they can see each increment line between the numbers. Make 0 degrees a different coloured number than the + and - numbers.

A better zoom meeting interaction. Meaning, get rid of the watermark since we cannot be on campus connected to a smartboard in the first place.

Equation editor font
It would be very helpful if you can change the font in the equation editor. I use a particular font for young students so the numbers are as simple as possible, but I can't make the font in the equations editor match it, which is very distracting and means I can't use the editor, making my work harder.

Printing defaults
By default SMART Notebook prints in colour.
Even if you untick the print in colour option, the setting is only retained for that session meaning that when you close and reopen the program it goes back to printing in colour as default.
This is particularly wasteful.
Please introduce a registry key or other setting which will allow us to set the default print option to monochrome.

Bring back the old coordinate grid app. It was the best coordinate grid make ever. The GeoGebra widget is too complicated to use.

text to speech for sound option
Can you please add a text-to-speech "sound" option instead of just voice recording or a downloaded sound? Our teachers do not all have microphones with their computers. Other similar products have text to speech playback. For instance, if putting a child's name on a button in an daily attendance activity it could read the label "student A" when touched instead of having the teacher physically record "student A". This would save a lot of time compared to similar products.

Remove Students
Remove inappropriate student names from online activities and lab activities. When students use fake names to logon to activities can we please kick them out straight away, rather than remove all students.

Can you please have someone look at the random number generation code for the dice, and spinner? Their randomization is very poor.
