@Joe Selby - with the Doc camera CROP request, I believe most people - including me - most critically want to be able to cut away and eliminate the outside extra stuff, like the tabletop, parts of the image they do not want/need to capture. etc. Also, what it captures is also often in an aspect ratio that is not optimal for the board. IE. the board is essentially a landscape mode and student work is usually on a notebook or workbook that is 8.5 x 11 portrait mode. Cropping a photo from a doc camera into essentially a landscape mode rectangle is optimal to teach with on the board.
