We’re working on a better whiteboard experience that can share directly through the cloud without needing another device.
Our Workspaces activity that’s currently available in SMART Learning Suite Online uses this new sharing capability now – for information on that, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6Of4Sc9bNA
We’ll assess the need to bring the kapp mobile app to Chrome OS later this summer.

Thanks for your feedback. We have added keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste images from any web page or application. We will consider adding drag and drop as an additional method to add images as well.

I agree. This is something that needs to be fixed. Even in face-to-face interactions, if a student puts a fake (or another student's) name, it causes problems. I know this is mostly a classroom management issue, but if there was no option for names or a way for teachers to lock in correct names, that would be helpful.
