Enhance Command Logs to Clearly Identify Active and Stopped Persistent/Scheduled Commands
The current Command Logs in SRM lack clear indicators for determining which persistent or scheduled commands are currently active and which have been stopped. This makes managing active schedules or recurring commands cumbersome and can lead to confusion, especially in troubleshooting or reviewing tasks.
Proposed Feature:
Add visual indicators or a dedicated column in the Command Logs to clearly display the status of persistent and scheduled commands, such as:Active: Commands that are currently running or scheduled.
Stopped/Inactive: Commands that were deactivated or no longer recurring.
Include additional metadata, like the schedule frequency (e.g., daily at 7:45 AM) and the…1 vote -
Enhance Command Logs to Display Specific Setting Changes
When commands are pushed through SRM to change device settings, the Command Logs currently display generic statuses like "Command Sent" or "Command Executed." However, they do not specify which settings were modified or what values were applied. This makes troubleshooting and audit tracking difficult.
Proposed Feature: Update the Command Logs to include detailed information about the settings or configurations that were changed as part of the command execution. For example:
If a setting like “Device Name” or “Screen Timeout” is changed, the log should display the old value, the new value, and the specific setting modified.
Include any additional parameters…1 vote -
Login Settings
It would be great to be able to have a setting to set a user to be the default login. When setting up our boards, I made the first account the admin and then created a user to be able to more easily change the user if a teacher would leave or change locations.
However, when they leave for the day and come back, the SMART Board logs into the Admin account by default. Thus creating more steps teachers have to do to log back into their account.

Set the sleep time value (seconds)" to "Set the 'Screen timeout in SRM
The SRM setting "Set the sleep time value (seconds)" currently controls the 'Screen timeout' on the iQ 4 board, not the "Go to standby mode" setting. This caused confusion for the customer, who thought they were changing the standby setting.
Customer Suggested Change 1: Rename it to "Set the 'Screen timeout' value" to make it clearer.
Customer Suggested Change 2: Instead of requiring users to input the number of seconds, provide options that match the available settings shown in iQ Settings, such as 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc. This would make the interface more user-friendly and consistent..

Push websites to board through SRM
I need to be able to push websites to Smartboards through SRM. Specifically, I am trying to push out a Google Drive link so that teachers can all access the same files without having to manually sign in and open them.
This would also allow them to edit the files from their computer and and be auto synced to the link on the board instead of having to manually upload a file via USB or something and having to reupload it anytime something changes (like a PowerPoint or word doc)

Group Tagging Behavior in SRM
Group Tagging Behavior in SRM
Tagging Interpretation:
Groups with multiple tags should include any board with any of the tags, but currently only include boards with all tags.Suggestion:
Update the system to allow groups to include boards with any of the assigned tags, not just all.

The credit-based licensing system calculation is too complex.
The complexity of the calculation involved in the Smart Remote Management credit-based licensing system has led to a lack of understanding among most customers.
Additionally, Education customers face separate different time slots when purchasing the IFP, further complicating matters.
Even the Smart Support Agents are struggling to fully comprehend this credit-based licensing system.
Therefore, it is recommended to contemplate simplifying the licensing system.1 vote -
Reports
For a School District with many smartboards to manage, there are some tools in the form of Reports that would be very useful in order to keep track of incidents on smartboards.
The report I have been needing lately is regarding Reboots, we have many users not reporting issues all the time, but we noticed they continuosly restart their smartboards and we want to know why.So on my dream report I would see:
-Reboot history (numbers)
-Time of the day reboots are happening
-Origin (spontaneous, remote, via front button, rocker button, etc)
-Account logged in at time of reboot…2 votes
