Add a search feature. Can you add a search feature for your own lessons? For example, I may have a lesson on cells in my collection from past years and can search for it and tweak it to suit my present lesson plans.

Hi Kamala. Good news. There actually is a search feature in your own lesson library. If you go to the Lumio home page where you see your lesson, it’s the magnifying glass icon on the top right, beneath the “Training” button. Hope this helps.

Being able to copy a page within the lesson When creating a t-chart or other items, it would be helpful to be able to right click and copy the page for extra examples of the same 'page'...i.e. do a shared activity together and have the same page for an independent activity

You can now duplicate pages in a lesson and also reuse pages from a previous lesson by importing a copy of the page.

Abiltiy to add pictures or symbols to questions. My non-readers would really benefit from pictures or symbols as choices instead of words in Game-Based Activities.

Reverting/ Editing Handouts or Collaborative Workspace Activities I would like the ability to revert collaborative workspace activities or handouts back to editing mode. Currently, there is no way to edit them if I wanted to change things. It's frustrating when I copy the whole lesson and am able to edit everything else, except the collaborative workspace or handout activities that I need to recreate from scratch. This creates additional work especially when the directions are the same, and some elements are the same, but I'm only switching out a few things. Please consider making this change!

You can now edit converted Handout and Workspace activities in edit mode. Note that if it’s a lesson you have already delivered and captured student data, you should create a copy of the lesson first to keep the data since editing a converted Handout or Workspace will reset the student data.

Allow students access without teacher being logged in I would like students to be able to access my lessons by clicking on a provided link when I am not actively presenting the lesson. This would GREATLY help with remote learning when kids are accessing learning at different times of the day based on their home schedules.

Allow us to link (other pages and websites) to SLSO lessons when in edit mode. It's great that we can now use infinite cloner through right clicking in SLSO but we still cannot link other pages within the presentation or websites without using the desktop version of SMART notebook then uploading. Would be great to see this feature added.

Being able to arrange layers in lessons Sometimes when I copy lessons to make content changes to the new copy I need to be able to move text forward, in terms of layers, so that the new image doesn't cover the old text. I need the text on the top layer IN FRONT of the new image and there seems to be no way to "bring forward" or "bring to front", which means that I need to create the text all over again.

Immersive reader Many learning platforms including all Microsoft products have the Immersive Reader fiction so children with low reading abilities can select to have questions, directions and answer choices read to them. Teachers can customize the immersive reader settings individually for each student to include specific font styles and size, highlighted reading lines...etc. This would allow teachers to make smart learning suites more accessible for all students.

Lumio now has Immersive Reader support. You can turn it on and off for your students in "Edit class" from the library view.

SAVE Student Individual Work from one lesson ( day ) to another. When my students are working on an Individual handout that requires more than one day for them to complete, they get quite frustrated that their previous work is not saved and present for them to resume.
1 votecompleted ·AdminSMART Technologies Product Management (Product Manager, SMART Technologies) responded
To enable students to resume their work across multiple sessions, please ensure that students are signed in when working in a lesson. This way, when they sign back in with the same account, they can resume their work.
In fact, all student work is saved in the lesson for activities like Handout and Workspace. It’s just that we are not able to map their work properly if they join as guests without signing in.
