Folders for Organization*
It would be wonderful to have a way to organize the files. A way to have folders and folders inside of folders would be great!
You can now use folders to organize content in your Lumio library!
If your library is connected to Google Drive, you can manage folders in Google Drive as before.

I know that I can organize my files in Google drive, but now I would like to organize them within Lumio and keep it synced with Google drive.

Elementary teachers in my district prefer using Lumio files by going to files on the board itself. They do not typically use the web version even though their accounts are connected to Google. We have had better experiences using the IQ. We would like the ability to see folders in Google and Lumio with the same folders showing up on the IQ files area on the board.

I see that Folders has been added in some shape at this point. It's not really how we need them, though. Folders will be most useful if they can be accessed directly from the Lumio website and if they follow teachers to the board that they sign into.

Lumio is an awesome platform however as you get more and more lessons it can be harder to find lessons you have run before.
I have developed my own filing system by writing alphabet codes at the start of the file name to sort them but it would be a lot easier if we could have "folders" on our dashboards that we could put lesson files into?

I would like the ability to organize my Lumio files by subject n a folder; then I can quickly access what I would want to share with my colleagues.

SORRY FOR YELLING!
I love using Lumio (so far, new user), but the folder option will be a necessity!

It's very important to us to be able to make folders to arrange our contents and files

Create Folders in which we can organize our lessons by topics, chapters, or other means of organization.

PLEASE create an option where we can move activities into folders. I actually don't use Lumio as I should because there isn't a folder feature. It's too difficult for all my lessons to be scattered throughout and no way of organizing them. This is a big downside of SLSO!

Would it be possible to create Folders for Lessons?

It would be much easier to find resources if we could group them in folders by subject and/or by standard, rather than just searching for a title in the search bar or looking for the date they were created.

please, please, please, please, PLEASE! Spending hours and hours working on cool ideas in Lumio only to have them thrown into a big messy pot is beyond frustrating.

DEFINITELY agree!

Probably like many teachers, I have many “lessons” on my Lumio home page - only organized by date of creation. We need folders or some other hierarchical system to sort the mess!

I have not seen a way to sort and arrange all my lessons. It would be incredibly helpful to have folders and subfolders so we know what we have.
If I missed this somewhere, I am open to someone pointing me in the right direction! :)

Rather than just a list or tiles to see all of the lessons, we should be able to create folders to save lessons in. I have 4 different Science Classes, it would be nice to be able folders as Earth, Life, Physical, or General. And then even folders within folders for the different chapters.

In de office 365 omgeving kan ik de lessen niet in ' folders ' plaatsen! Het is nu zoeken naar de les die ik wil geven.
Dat moet toch niet zo moeilijk zijn!!1 -

Organizing files is really important. Please allow teachers to create folders to organize their lessons. I want to be able to put my Math lessons in one folder, ELA in another folder..etc.

If you are a Google Drive user, we already have integration that allows you to organize your SLS lessons directly in Google Drive alongside other files.
