Close captioning while presenting.
While teachers are presenting in the hybrid model in our board (some students at home, some in person), having close captioning would be very helpful for many of our HOH/ Deaf students. Additionally, the ability to create oral instructions, is great, but can closed captioning happen with that too?
Thanks,
Dan Fata

Adapting it for higher education.
A lot of the activities and therefore their formats are geared towards elementary education. It would be great to see a larger variety of collaborative activities (such as the monster quiz or super sort, etc.) get some templates that would be more attractive and interesting for college or even higher level students.

Online student participation
It would be great if students could engage in Smart Learning remotely from two sites. I was looking at a great activity, Polar Express - spin the wheel... but both students / teams need to be in the same room. How about virtually environment, like Kahoot. Students can be engaged in the same activity from different locations.

A way to let some students move on (student paced) while others stay on the same page as the teacher.
A way to let some students move on (student paced) while others stay on the same page as the teacher. For those students who are ready to move of but allows you to keep those students who get lost on their own move along with you.

Add a live Help button
Sometimes it takes too long to read through the help files, or the answer isn't there. A live Help button would really improve this function.

Screen Feature
A feature I'd like to see in the future would be a screen to cover and guide students to follow along as I read the text.

Keep a log of who was attending a lesson
For distance learning, it would be handy if a "log" of who signed it would be available after the lesson has ended

Keep the links live
Hi! I am a French/Prep teacher who goes from Team meeting to Team meeting, but I would like the links to stay active/live somewhere after I leave the class. I need to close the activity and thereby closing the links to a pdf when I go. It would be helpful if the links could stay live somewhere allowing students to continue working after I have left their class.

text box in slide presentation
I'd like there to be a text box on every slide for the teacher or presenter to use for teaching purposes. Currently, the only way to have a text box when teaching is to make it collaborative and my students can't handle that kind of freedom!

Move students who completed handout and have been checked into a folder.
As you are checking student work there should be a button that can be pressed on the teacher end to show it is correct and it won't come up again in work I am checking. When looking for the 2 people who needed help it would be nice not to have to flip through 20+ screens first.

Allow for QR Code or Guest access in live and asynchronous lessons
Our district's login information is a lot for a student to remember - in live lessons, students can join as a guest, which is a huge time saver.
For asynchronous lessons (when share link is posted), they must be logged in to their board account. It would be nice to have an option that works better for young students, especially on shared devices where they can't keep their usernames/passwords cached.

Presenter/Speaker Notes!!
I've presented/facilitated using SLSO and since there are no presenter/speaker notes I needed to also have my Google Slides open and in Presenter View to use the notes already there. I found it to be quite cumbersome with all the windows: Zoom, SLSO, Presenter View Notes, Google Slide...it was a lot and not easily usable.
