One share link functionality
Okay, I already typed this up once and it deleted it as I went to post it so there's another thing for y'all to fix!
Anyways, can we get the one share link back that automatically updated with changes/edits????
Last school year, I could post the share link in google classroom and if a class was not done with notes, it would update as we caught up but allow students who were absent to still get to that point and not wait/get behind.
NOW, I have to create multiple different links for each class (I only teach one subject this year and I would prefer one link to the same lesson of notes) so that if one class isn't done, I'm not posting half-completed notes that will never automatically update--hence the multiple different links being required.
This is VERY inconvenient and time consuming compared to the one link that would automatically update. Please go back to this instead of the "start a new session" which requires many links if I am posting the notes for students!!!! (I hate the class sessions and it should be an option, not a thing that is required)

Hi Deja,
Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback.
From what you described, it sounds like what worked best for you was having a single share link that automatically updated with your edits, so you could post once in Google Classroom and not worry about managing multiple links. Is that right?
While Class Sessions is designed to keep student work separate across different classes, you can still share the same session if that works better for you. To do this, create one session and post that session link to Google Classroom (you’ll find the session link under Share assignment from the Class Sessions tab, or from the more menu during delivery). Then, whenever you want to use it with your classes, go to the Class Sessions tab and click Start live to resume live delivery of the same session. This way, any edits you make to that session will automatically update for all students using that same link.
I know the change in workflow can feel different and I really appreciate you explaining how it impacts your teaching. If it would be helpful, I’d be glad to set up a quick online meeting to walk through your workflow and learn more about how we can make Class Sessions work better for you.
