Text option in Presentation mode
While running a session, I need the ability to add text to a slide since I don't have a Smartboard or touch screen device at home. The only option I see is to draw, which makes sense in a classroom with a Smartboard, but I can't write with the trackpad on my non-touchscreen Chromebook. Please add the text option to the main tool bar like students have when they are working on a handout or collaborative space.

Good news! Now you can add text and edit text while in delivery mode.

I love the idea of adding a whiteboard in the middle of the lesson. It would be great if text would be an option. This way if a teacher needs to add a note page, it can be done this way rather than having to click edit and only add it in the edit mode rather than the start mode.

When presenting a lesson you can write and erase but it would be awesome to be able to add text by typing. I am using SLSO remotely and writing using the pen tools can be difficult.

I am able to add to a presentation with the pen feature but I am not able to type in the response while presenting. Also, it is difficult to move the text where you want it when creating a text box while editing. I realize you can move it after but would like to choose where the text is typed first.

Teachers should have the same text entry button that students have when presenting/working live in lessons.

Yes, it becomes time consuming to be writing with a mouse/mousepad.

When working on your presentation, add a text box tool for working and adding material as you are teaching. Too hard to use the pen with this virtual teaching and not having my board in front of me.

I don't see a button for adding text as I did in SMART amp. I only see the options to add a photo or drawing in the online version. We don't have touch screen Chromebooks, so adding a photo is the only option? This is a very limiting workspace then - I don't see a lot of collaboration available...
In SMART amp there were also templates for brainstorming workspaces. Are those going to be added soon?
