What's the point of asking for suggestions and then not acting on such obvious ones? surely a starting point is including the options that were available on smart notebook?

Is there any information as to the progress on these "add basic tools" thread. As stated below, having the "math tools" (ruler, compass, protractor) along with all of the various shapes would be of great benefit for students of all ages who are learning geometry. I'm using Kami for now because it does more than this not-so-smart tool.

Yes, I agree, I would like the lines option, as a math teacher I draw a lot of lines for drawing, seperating ideas, fractions, tables, etc. Also when you are presenting a slide it would be nice to have the text tool also available (not ony on student handouts).

We have math or science teachers looking to get more of the tools like lines and shapes so that students can use them when a handout created?

It would be nice if there was a shape bank with lots of different items to choose from to add to the slides. A lot of images in the search come with a square background that is unappealing.

As a Geometry teacher, I would really appreciate having some tools like a text box, shapes, and a geometric compass.
