Add audio
I would like to see a way to add audio to Smart Learning Suite Online for students who struggle with reading. This feature is available in Notebook.
Hi everyone. You can now record instructional audio for each page in a lesson.

As you design audio capablities for SLSO, please consider having an audio option for students to be able to record as well.

Absolutely!! Audio is needed in SLSO. As everyone moves towards Chromebooks and cloud based services, this is critical.

It is possible in Smart Notebook. But after importing it to SLS this option disappears ... Why? It is so cool to have that option in Notebook and SLS would even be cooler ... So?

Teaching languages without audio is like cooking without a pot. Have you never thought about that? One of the most important subjects not only at school are languages ...

I wish you all could put audio capabilities on here. I made a phonics lesson for 1st graders and need to record instructions for them. This is an asynchronous lesson and they won't understand without audio. I guess I will have to recreate it in another platform.

I teach ELL and audio would be a tremendous tool in this platform.

I would love that feature! I also teach foreign language. I would love it if I can record or add audio to Smart Learning Suite Online!

I'm a middle school spec. ed. teacher of students with a WIDE range of abilities/needs; scribing to writers, non-readers to reading on 2nd gr. level. Read aloud & speech-to-text features increase the opportunities for students to participate with greater independence regardless of their reading/writing ability. Please improve ACCESSIBILITY for all learners!

Please note that there are many separate requests for audio, so probably if you add them all up, it will result in the hottest idea :)

Teaching, as we learn at uni, is using 3 components: visual, audio and kinesthetics. We can't have the 3rd one for obvious reasons, but why not the audio? Grade 1 or older children, audio can help a lot, saving a lot of time.

I teach 1st grade. Audio options would really benefit younger learners. I would also love to see a speaking or speak to text option for them if typing is a difficult skill for them at the time.
