Student access lessons when teacher is not online?
If I have absent students, can they join in from home? Can I hook up a microphone to speak into so that students not in the class could hear me. Can students access the lessons posted from home if I am not online or teaching a lesson?

You can now generate a student share link for them to access the lesson outside of class.

Still patiently waiting for students to be able to access lessons in Smart Suite that I do not have open for delivery...this would mean that multiple students could access different lessons that I have uploaded to Smart suite at the same time.
This is going to be the difference between teachers in my division continuing to use Smart Notebook as we use more Google Classroom, or abandoning Smart Notebook because students don’t have online access from home (when the teacher doesn’t have the lesson open). -

Would be so great if different students could access different lessons from a teacher's account at the same time (differentiation, work at home, etc.) Right now, having to have the teacher lesson open in order for students to access it online is quite limiting.
This is my biggest issue right now, as I am trying to help my Smart Notebook desktop loving teachers to move to SLS Online so they can use it with Google Classroom. -

I would also like to see the ability for students to access a Notebook lesson when the teacher is offline. For example if a teacher assigned a lesson for homework or wanted students to review using the Notebook file and a few Class Lab activities that can be done on an individual basis.

Thanks for the feedback, Brandon. Yes, students can join from anywhere as long as they are connected to the internet and has your class ID. Currently, students only have access to the lesson that you have opened for delivery. We are planning to support out of class access for students in the future. SMART Learning Suite Online does not support audio communication, but you can use other apps like Skype or Google Hangouts to supplement remote communication.
