Can you make SMART Response use a students google account to connect up with like the teacher do?
This would make it a little harder to be goofy with the names students use and less likely a student would be someone they are not online while taking a SMART Response.

Now students have the option to sign in or join as a guest as before.

They just did this and now I can't sort my data off Smart Response. I usually have my students sign in with their number and last name so I can sort exported data (CVS/EXCEL files) by last name. Now they are in by first last name in the same column. ...NOT how my grade book works. :-(

This would definitely be an improvement. I miss being able to create a class so that I know who is signing in. This was first addressed over a year ago - will it actually happen???

Thanks for the suggestion, Michelle. Yes, we are looking into having students explicitly sign in to join the lesson and complete activities.
