Hi Gerd. Thanks for letting us know about the issue. I believe we have a fix for this already. I will follow up with you by email to help you get it working.

I wonder if my issue with SMART Response 2 might have something to do with the problems I had when first trying to open the Notebook 16.1 beta version. I use the Swedish version of Windows on my computer.

When I open SMART Response 2 to create an activity I can't log in on Google. It says to me that "The web browser is not supported anymore. Please update to a newer web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari)". When I try to update (even if I have a new version of Google Chrome) the message I get is "An error has occurred in the script of this page". I use the Swedish version of Notebook 16.1.

It seems much easier than Response in the past. It used to be pretty confusing and teachers didn't really like using it. I'm glad it's integrated now and has the same look and feel as the LAB activities.

I loved the new themes but it would be even better to have the possibility to have even more themes.

Response 2 is much easier to use than the previous version. The elimination of some functions can I get over. but I still lack a greater variety of types of tasks.

Much more pleasing for students and teachers. It has the same affect as LAB so will be much more user friendly.

I'm excited to create some activities. It seems easier to use. I like the themes but would still like to customize according to my topic. Concerned about old response activities. How can I use them?

SMART response 2 is much easier to use. My only concern is how the old SMART Response activities will convert over. The teachers at our school created thousands of Response activities where they would leave the response set up blank and put a multiple choice question (image) over the multiple choice letters that appeared. I don't think these types of Response questions are going to work with the new Response 2 setup.

The new themes look good and function properly. Unfortunately, the themes are not suitable for each project. I would therefore welcome it if there would be a Theme Builder, with which I could set my own background images and colors. Also I would love could change the size of text boxes, so that I can incorporate more complex texts. That would be an important project for the next version of the notebook.

I love the new themes and teachers and students will appreciate the variety. I agree with the others that you've oversimplified Response 2. It's very easy to create questions, but there needs to be a way to track student responses.

Great themes, but I'd like to echo the sentiments of others by requesting student scores are saved somewhere

I like that you can work with text and pictures. Also that I can make 150 questions!
For teacher who don't work with Notebook and/or LAB that often it's great, that Response works like LAB.
Is there a thought to translate on the students devices? It will be pretty difficult to work with primary school children who don't speak English... -
