  2. When exporting Response 2, I can't view the resulting file.

    I exported the results from a Response 2 Quiz, and I can't open it. There's no way to choose the file type (i.e. .xls or .pdf).

  3. I can't move a slide from one notebook file to another

    In other versions, I was able to drag-and-drop a slide from one notebook file to another. In this version, this process doesn't seem to be working.

  4. Equations and text - being able to group together

    First, using the insert equation feature does not allow the equation to be in the middle of text. The equation shows up in the upper left corner. So I tried to make room for it in the text, then group the equation with the text. But the "group" was grayed out and not accessible.

  5. In your marketing e-Mail for this they say ... "You’ll have full access to Notebook 17 for 45 days, but even if you don’t purchase a subscri

    The trial period on my Notebook 17 ended and now it won't open any of my Notebook files. I didn't purchase a subscription but I thought I would still have access to basic functionality of the software.

  6. Resizing images does not work

    When I resized an imported image, then clicked on it to move it, the image went back to the original size. I could not keep it the size I wanted.

  7. Installation error on Windows 7 system

    Installer for Notebook 17 on Windows 7 system errors out when trying to download "Gallery Essentials". I have verified that my system has proper internet connection. I am running a Dell Optiplex 9010.

  8. Notebook 17 closes when you open it.

    Hello, today I installed Notebook 17 on my computer (we are a reseller of SMART) to test Notebook 17. It started up, but then it also closes (see picture). Message is: The evaluation period has expired. Thank you for the evaluation off the smart notebook software of Smart technologies. Then it closes. The same happened to a customer of ours... Now 16.2 has dissappeared , so what to do. Reinstall 16.2? I have a valid key, and the key is also activated for 17.0 what is the solution. Install it again/remove?

  9. Beta test smart notebook 17 until 30 may?

  11. Big dots when grouping or exporting/printing

    I already noticed the problem in 16.1 and it is still there in 16.2.
    When I write on the board by hand and then group different elements, e.g. to shrink them or move them, I see big dots where they should not be. This also happens when I want to print pages or export them as pdf. Unfortunately it happens almost all the time and I have not idea how to prevent it happening.

  13. General crash

    Since I installed NB 16.2, my computer isn't working properly anymore. Even if I don't start NB, it's very slow and I get "no respond" pretty often. I have to wait some minutes, then it's working fine.
    I'm working on Windows 7, 4GB RAM, 64 Bit, i5 Processor

  14. I agree that the new equation editor is a great addition. However, the equations aren't displayed when viewing the file in SNB for the iPad

    The new equation editor is great. However, viewing a file with SNB created equations on the iPad app first crashed the app and then the equations are not displayed.

  16. Activation?

    I have my activation key and it's activated on my computer. Still NB is showing me a "license" window. Is that part of the new beta?

    I can't connect my iPad with my Laptop, I don't see my iPad... I am in the same wifi and I did it several times before, so I should know how to do it...

  18. New SMART Lab Themes for Older Students

    It would be even better to add some less-cartoonish SMART Lab themes for older students; though my middle schoolers love SMART Lab, sometimes they complain that the backgrounds are babyish. They love the rock stars & pirates most!
