Let teachers change the color of the ink on a Lumio file by clicking the button on the SmartBoard pen.
Currently, in order to change the color of the ink on the SmartBoard while in a Lumio file, you have to turn your back to the class, push the pen icon, push the color you want, and then push the hand icon to switch back to being able to drag items around. The SmartBoard pens have a button on them that was designed to change colors, but it doesn't function on a Lumio file. If that button worked, I'd wouldn't have to go through all of those steps to change the color and not have to turn my back on all my 9th graders. On my old SmartBoard, I used to solve math equations with each line of the equation as a different color to show contrast and order to the process. Now, I find myself putting everything in the same color as it takes too much time to switch colors every step. Since there is already a button on the pens to switch colors, I would think that would be an easy thing to add? Thanks for having this suggestion forum!
