I have resources that are in Smart Notebook format that I purchased. I have them uploaded to Lumio. These are interactive documents where students come to my Smart Board and manipulate the slideshow...move the objects around, etc. Lumio automatically autosaves these changes. When I use my computer hooked up to my Smart Board, I use Smart Notebook and I can't save the changes because the files are "read only." Lumio automatically saves the changes, even when I choose "start" instead of "edit.". This means I have to go in and individually delete every single cloned object, and put every page back the way it was before the class saw it if I want to use my Smart Board without a computer. The native Whiteboard program on my Smart Board is doesn't work with the Notebook Files appropriately as there are embedded audio and video files and the clipart doesn't stay where it is supposed to stay as students interact with the files. I really wish there was a way to actually have Smart Notebook on my Smart Board, but as far as I know that isn't possible unless there is something I'm missing.
