I am an online teacher reading "Building Thinking Classrooms" In a brick and mortar school = teachers provide Vertical Whiteboards that all groups can view. In the online environment I provide my students to the Luminio Board and a Word Document. I currently snap group work pictures and post to the Word - this provides a similar information stream but is clunky. I would love it if the students had a toogle button within their view area to switch to such a stream - this could be done by programming simultaneous post or updates every so many seconds. In this way if students get stuck or need ideas they can view others work or be directed to another groups work by the teacher this would provide direct support to a group or groups without interruption of the work for all.
