Co-Teacher/Multiple Teachers
We desperately need the option to add another teacher to a class. I teach with another teacher, with the younger grades, and it's difficult for them to have to log out of one class, to log into another class. Try explaining that to a 5 year old remotely... Also when we (Teachers) have a different class code, any slides we make we have to remember to share the link with the other teacher, but then if one of us updates the slide, the change will not reflect in the other teachers account. We need to be able to collaborate. We hate sharing passwords and logins but seems the only way to make it work seamlessly right now is if I use the other teachers account or she uses mine. In google classroom your able to add other teachers, why not here?

Thanks for your feedback. We are working on making co-teaching with Lumio better.

Yes! Please help out co-taught classrooms! Especially during this hybrid/remote teaching! :)

I would like to add co-teachers so the other teacher can look at the students work when you make it an activity. It would also be helpful if I could get a summary or a spreadsheet of what students have done what pages of each activity because it is really time consuming to grade them all. Also when switching between tabs, if I click on teacher handout, then look at the progress on another tab, the teacher sheet goes away. That is not helpful when students are trying to look at my teacher sheet and I am trying to check their progress in another tab.

Yes! As a special education teacher this is a great idea.

Allowing two teachers to access the Smart Suite to see student work. Currently you can share the link/ activities with co-workers. However, when collaborating on a topic, only one teacher can see student work. This becomes difficult when trying to discuss with a co-worker what a student is struggle on, what mistakes they are making because they do not have access to see student work in live time or even after work is submitted. This feature would save a lot of extra work for a general education teacher and a special education teacher.

An option where a teacher could add a co-teacher so as they're going through the lesson delivery and then working to provide feedback on student handout/material, both teachers could interact.

I am a general educator and work with a special educator. At best, the special educator can log on as a student and I can put them with a small group when we collaborate. It would be beneficial if we could both log into the presentation as teachers so when the students are doing an individual activity, both teachers can access the individual students. Also, if both teachers had control of the presentation, we could coteach more equitably - being able to initiate activities, advance the slides, present information, etc.

If a teacher and their co teacher can both have teacher abilities during the lesson would be great feature. For how when we are both on only i can check the students work and write on the pages yet if she had acces to this at same time it would be more beneficial to the students

Teachers work together and need to see student responses simultaneously from different locations. The ability to add a co-teacher when presenting a lesson and getting responses from students is a critical needed feature.

I have a co-teacher and she can only interact with the students as a student. If she had teacher rights she could go into the student activities and switch between them, providing feedback as she moves. This will allow us to follow federal guidelines when we have students with additional needs as described by their IEP or 504 Plans.

I work with a co-teacher and it would be great for the two of us to have teacher permissions at the same time in the same document when we are using the Smart learning suite, especially during virtual instruction. One of us could be checking student work while the other is demonstrating on the teacher slide.

Allow two teachers to monitor student progress at the same time. This would allow more than one adult access to student progress inorder to deliver immediate remediation.

Whether remote or in person, co-teacher access is a must. I work with a co-teacher for 2/3 of my school day, but my co-teacher does not have access to student progress in handouts or workspaces as she currently joins my lessons as a student. I can share results from quizzes where I can export data to a spreadsheet; however, it is a major challenge to support students (especially while remote) with their work while using SLSO or access their work directly in SLSO. I think there would need to be a way to have a specific class code for our shared class or a specific sharing function (per file) as my co-teacher and I have classes that we do not teach together as well.

I routinely work with an in class support teacher, if would be beneficial for both teachers to be able to provide immediate feedback and effectively co-teach.

I have seen that Peardeck just added a feature where a co-teacher can join the presentation and see everything the primary teacher see's. Can this be done for SMART Learning Suite Online? It would make reviewing student's work a lot easier.

I teach very young students that need help or supervision while completing the assignment. I would like to be able to share the teacher access with my classroom assistants so they can see how several students are working and provide support as needed.

I would like for two teachers to be able to sign on to a class at the same time as I team teach. When students are in the workspace activities, only one of us can check on their progress.

Allow for a special education, bilingual teachers, etc. to join the teachers lessons and provide feedback to the students right along with the classroom teacher.

It would be nice to add your co-teacher, so that we both can see our classes and not have to sign in under the same account. Or different accounts that do not match up with students.

I definitely agree with this! I coteach and would like for both teachers to be able to access student work in real time.
