Online Competition not side by side
Pair students in a class automatically to compete against each other instead of requiring them to sit at same computer. Make it an option, shared device/team or individual device. Look at games on Arcademics or even Kahoot.

Agreed---how silly is it to race on the Speedway by themselves when remote learning! So, so sad!

Thanks for the feedback and references. We do have a few activities that leverage student devices to enable them to play/learn together. Shout It Out is a whole class discussion activity, and Monster Quiz is a competitive quiz-based activity similar to Kahoot. We will look into adding more activities in the future.
