@my first comment: It's the same problem with this site: www.smarttech.com/kb/171100

I absolutely agree! In Austria (maybe everywhere in Europe), data security is a huge theme! If the students have to log in with an account, there are many parents that won't like/allow that...

I skipped the sign in and clicked on "further informations" in LAB. I got to an 404 error: https://www.smarttech.com/de/404Target?
First the link is https://classlab.com/api/v1/redirect/labSignInInstructions - but it redirects me to the other one. -

I love this but the codes can be lengthy with 6 characters. 4 digit pin would work better with the younger grades.

I like the idea that you can log into SMART lab through three options.

I am super excited to put this into action with my students in the fall. I love the SMART lab activities, but I disliked the chaos of trying to use them with an entire class and one whiteboard. This definitely solves that problem and adds the formative assessment component as well.

I really like this new idea. How quickly will it load? I'd love to use it as an at home task but am concerned about the data used.

a simple sign it seems a great idea so we can then share the LAB game with others, but I brings up the same discussion about sign ins, and sharing of data/privicy etc. This will put many off even opening LAB, which is a key feature to Notebook. It might be better to put this at a later stage rather than at the beginning, or to click "sign in later"

I like that they have the same code. The only problem I see, would be if students share devices and do not log off. I have many who forget and share iPads. It is a common problem we have with SMART amp. I may be misunderstanding the way it works, though. I might need some more explanation. I would really like that my younger ones wouldn't have to keep putting in the numbers every time, if that is the case. They get really caught up with that task.

Awesome idea and great use of student voice. Can't wait to see how students and teachers feel about it in the fall. Thanks for being innovative!

I love coding and I like the students may access from their own device.

I will try it in September but the idea to have a fixed code is great
