Add Auto Timed save feature back into the product
Add the auto timed save feature back to the product and when logged in with google auto save to the Google Drive. Alternatively save to onedrive if using microsoft account.

Fix pdf exporting issues
The latest version of Notebook (ie 25.0.1390.1) when exporting a pdf does not allow you to control as in previous versions the pages size etc. This is so frustrating. Please fix urgently.

The undo algorithm is inconsistent
In SMART Notebook 23.2, the algorithm for undo when inking seems to be counter-intuitive. Sometimes, it just undoes the most recently inked thing, which is what I would expect. Other times, it undoes the last 2 minutes worth of writing. Oddly, if I erase some ink and then click undo, it does NOT undo the erasure, but rather undoes the ink that was written earlier and leaves the partially erased ink there. Can your developers please debug/refine the undo algorithm in SMART Notebook?

Please make the Paint Bucket Fill feature work with any enclosed object
The paint bucket only works with notebook created objects. The paint bucket icon in most of the other drawing programs fills the area on any enclosed area. I use lots of banners and boxes from internet images and would like to be able to fill these areas using the paint bucket

Multiple Select for SMART Notebook 25
In SMART Notebook 25, you cannot drag a rectangle to select multiple objects on top of an imported PDF.
Consider this...
Import a PDF of a guided notes page used by students.
Annotate that PDF with SMART Notebook in front of the class.
Make a mistake or want to move something... With the current SMART Notebook software, you cannot drag a rectangle to select multiple objects. You would need to return to your desk and individually select the objects while holding your shift key!
This is not ideal. SMART Tech Support have confirmed that this is not possible in Version…

Copying and pasting formatting issues
When you copy and paste an image, you use to be able to grab the item by selecting it from the bottom right corner and resize it anyway you like. With this version, you can only make it bigger or smaller. In 22, you could stretch or shorten the image in any direction. You can do this now with shapes that you create , but you cannot do it with images that you paste from somewhere else. This feature was crucial when trying to fit certain images in specific spaces. Please bring this back, thank you.

Text Boxes
Please can you create a text box function? It's 2024 (almost 2025) and Notebook still doesn't have a working textbox function.
Please make a text box function, where you can align the text in different places inside the box and be able to format colours of both the text and the box.
Without this feature, it is painfully slow and arduous to make a text box, as you have to make a box, then some text and finally group them together.

Bring Back SMART Exchange
When I went to go to exchange.smarttech.com to download a notebook file on the website it takes me straight to Lumio by SMART for some reason. When I went to download a smart notebook file on my computer that option is not there, there is only a upload to lumio icon. Please bring back the feature that allows you to download files as SMART Notebook Files on your computer, and SMART Exchange.

Right click to get previous files
Get a recent files list when right-clicking on the SMART Notebook icon in the taskbar while using SMART Notebook 24.
Used to be there now disappeared. Really useful when planning the day ahead and then closing the files before going home.3 votesWe had to do some extra investigation on this one, because it wasn't a feature we built into Notebook. It turns out this was a feature of Windows, and they have since removed that feature. We do not have the ability to add it back in.

Recent Files missing from Windows Taskbar menu
When I right click Smartboard from the Windows task bar, it no longer shows recent files or allows me to pin frequently used files. It worked fine until the update so not sure if it's a SMART Notebook issue or a Windows needing to catch up issue. Other programs still allow this such as Word or Excel.

REIMPLIMENT BASIC GRAPHIC CONTROLS
When drawing a line please reinstate the snap horizontal and snap vertical options.
When scaling shapes holding "shift" or "control" ought to maintain proportions.
These are basic Windows controls and were correctly implemented in previous versions. Where and why have they gone? It is very hard to teach maths when you can't realiably construct diagrams.

Working correctly would be a HUGE improvement.
In this latest version, I am using an EPSON projector and pen. In the last two weeks I am constantly having pens just freeze on one tool. For example, I am picking a black pen, getting a red pen. I then select the eraser, but it is still a red pen. Cannot select any other tool except red pen.
Closing the program and restarting sometimes temporarily solves this problem, but it returns constantly. I love this product when it works. I am constantly let down. ALSO trying to attach the ZIP file that your program created as a diagnostic, this…3 votes -
locked items become unlocked if held too long
When locking items to move only in a certain direction, it needs to stay like this, not revert to unlocked if held for a longer period of time. This is frustrating when you have children using the board and deliberating their thoughts and 'hold' onto the locked item, thus unlocking it.
