interactive independent activity
when doing online activity with kids, have option to touch correct spot. For example: with angle pair relationships, I want to be able to put up a graphic with a certain angle highlighted and tell them to find the angle the alternate interior angle. Then after they touch the correct spot, it would tell them. So on our end, we would be able to draw the areas they could touch that would be correct.

Graph feature; taskbar
Notebook 23 is missing the "Graph" feature under the Insert button in the ribbon. As a high school math teacher, this was an important feature for me. Also, when resting my cursor on the Notebook icon in the taskbar, I can no longer see the previous files that I had opened. This slows down my teaching in the classroom. The blue shade around objects that are selected or when text is being entered is annoying as well. I've had Notebook 23 for less than 24 hours and dislike it. I am switching back to Notebook 22.

"Reset page" messes up images
When trying to "reset page" between classes, images just appear as grey boxes.1 voteHi, JoAnn

Return of Transparent Background
Please return back the transparent background feature. As a teacher, I use the transparent background on a regular basis.

For 23 to have the same functionality as 22 so that pages can be extended etc
Please sort out the functionality or we will have to stop using it.

Improve GeoGebra
Add the ability to enter a table of values in the GeoGebra widget when using the Basic version of the Notebook software.

grid
Please make the background 'Grid - medium' available as all blue lines, rather than a mixture of blue and red. Children find this difficult to follow as our maths books are just blue but I require the size squares of the medium.

change default pen
I've seen quite a few people on here say they would like to have the ability to select their own defaults when the application launches, even without having to connect a SMARTBoard product to their computers. I would have to agree with everyone of these users on here. Please provide the ability for us to save our preferences/ defaults when launching the SmartNotebook program.

Dual View, Pinning Pages, and Screen Recorder
All of these features from SmartNote 22 seem to be missing or functioning incorrectly in SmartNote 23. I recently opened a ticket about this and was recommended to post here about these features either being implemented into 23 or otherwise. At this point I've told my campus' teachers to just open things in SmartNote 22 instead of 23 due to the missing features.
To be specific, Dual View and pinning are not present as others have mentioned. The Screen recording whether used through SmartNote or in the settings function both operate oddly. They will give partial screens even when the…

Add a search command to find text in a file.
If there is a search command to find text in a file, I am unable to locate it. Why does that not exist? I can see why replace might be problematic, although that's pretty standard, too.

words moving after saving
With the new update, I open newly made SMART files (made using the same version of SMART Notebook as I'm presenting them in...made on the same laptop on which I'm presenting) to find words moved, enlarged, etc. Even when I lock them in place.

The reset page feature is only working one time.
If I try to reset multiple pages, it only does it on the first page I try to reset.

bookmark feature
A bookmark feature would allow a teacher to mark the page they're on, so they could continue seamlessly the next lesson.

Pinning documents to taskbar
Before 23, I was able to pin documents to the taskbar (as well as the program itself). There are workarounds, but the pins save me a ton of time.

Please fix the issue with custom colours being forgotten between slides.
Please fix the custom colour options so that colours are remembered. I can fill all custom colour boxes with a colour that I want as my background, but it is forgotten a few slides later.
If you were to allow changing the background colour of all slides at the same time, this would be less of an issue.
As it is, I need to go back to the slide that has the desired colour, save it to custom colours, apply it to the next slide, rinse and repeat.

Go back to version 22!
The version 23 should not have been released with so much problem in it.
My biggests issues are:
The link on one object is now applied to the hole page. So, every time I touch my screen it follows a random link that was not where I clicked.
We can not extend the page.
Geometric instrument appear behind everything so if a file is made from a word document, we just don't see them.
The printing are of the worst quality ever.This should not happen... I'm now searching for an alternative to SmartNotebook that will work with my smart…

Bring back features that were useful for those who actually use the program!
Bring back extend page feature and the equation editor that matched the Mathtype program; also, the 'export to PDF' now takes any written text on a slide and converts to an illegible font, when before it essentially took a screenshot of the slide with the original writing and saved the file; I am aware that I can 'view in Notebook 22' but I don't understand the need then for Notebook 23.
